US President Donald Trump's unabashed support for the Jewish state and his public recognition of Jerusalem as its capital have many Israelis electrified.
The current American leader's positive attitude toward Israel seems nearly illogical, especially after decades of far more hostile trends.
A prominent Israeli rabbi believes the reason for this unprecedented (at least in modern times) shift is that Trump has a big role to play in the building of the Third Temple and the coming of Messiah.
Rabbi Yosef Berger is the rabbi in charge of King David's Tomb on Mount Zion, and the son of a widely revered Hasidic leader.

yup! third temple - under budget and ahead of schedule..... (just kidding, only God knows who, how and when it will be built)
I hope Trump gets our southern and a northern border wall or major security upgrades done/complete before he leaves the Presidency.
Being a sometime resident of Jerusalem, I tend to disagree with the theory that the Ophel mound was the location for the Temple, simply because the area is too small.
The spring itself is also lower than where the Temple floor would be, making transport of water rather difficult, depending on the technology used.
I believe there are/were recent excavations in the area to see if a structure existed; I do not know the results.
Among the large amount of evidence that goes against the ‘Temple Mount’ being the site of Herod’s Temple, are ROMAN coins dated
to 20 years AFTER Herod’s construction, found at a dig at the ‘wailing Wall’.
The only source of flowing water in the Jerusalem of Jesus’day was the Gihon Spring in the Old City. Jews were required to perform ‘mikvah’ using flowing water. The Temple Mount is located some distance away from the Spring and at a higher elevation! It makes absolutely no sense that they would bathe in the Spring, or the nearby Pool of Siloam, then walk uphill on a dusty road to the Temple. That would increase the risk of being made ‘unclean’.
There are so many issues with the Temple being located on the Temple Mount, that it is nigh impossible for it to have been there.
Ezekiel 40-45 detail the millennial temple, including exact measurements.
Ot selling. Dispensationalism is clear, obejective, observable, propositional-based truth. Like gravity, it exists whether you like it or not.
I don’t want it to happen, per se, but I know it’s going to happen.
It definitely has happened by Revelation chapter 11 and that’s how chapter 13 (and the verses you mentioned elsewhere on the thread) is/are able to play out.
Some don’t believe it’s coming. I simply say well, just give it time.
oy vey.
That was so bad I actually laughed because I could see it. Would be so much better if the sign you described replaced the hollywood sign, eh?
That temple will be an abomination.
First of all God never asked for a temple. He spelled out the details for a “tabernacle”.
Jesus raised the “temple” of his body — (John 2:19-21).
Now that the true lamb has been sacrificed, there is no need for any other. Resuming the “daily sacrifice” serves to illustrate the Christ-rejecting nature of any who do so.
The building of such a temple indicates the time of the anti-christ is near. The anti-christ will stop the daily sacrifice and will blasphemously claims to be god incarnate.

That is correct. There are things yet to be played out.
That temple will be an abomination.
It is foretold by God.
First of all God never asked for a temple. He spelled out the details for a tabernacle.
God gave Solomon directions and gifted men to carry them out, which he did.
Jesus raised the temple of his body (John 2:19-21).
Yes, but doesnt eliminate the prophecy of God, foretelling the temple the antichrist will pollute by setting himself up as God..
Now that the true lamb has been sacrificed, there is no need for any other.
Yes there is. It is not for payment of sins/sin, but looks back on Christs complete sacrifice, which has always been the basis of salvation.
Resuming the daily sacrifice serves to illustrate the Christ-rejecting nature of any who do so.
No. It fulfills the specific commands and prophecy of God in Scripture.
Sacrifices will not be to forgive sins. They never were. They were to restore fellowship between the nation and God. The foreshadowed the sacrifice of Christ. They will in the future, look backwards to His sacrifice.
The building of such a temple indicates the time of the anti-christ is near.
Yes!
The anti-christ will stop the daily sacrifice and will blasphemously claims to be god incarnate.
Yes. They will be renewed in the millennial kingdom when the glory of God again fills the temple.
LOL!
That’s rich that a Catholic is telling me to reach John - hysterical.
Anything is possible, especially with respect to the precise location of the original Temple (and new Temple).
It’s important to not be dogmatic about that since this is still playing itself out.
That said, it will be built.
I recall the old quip: 'Ask two Jews, get three opinions.' When it comes to Christians, and especially iterpretations of 'prophetic' books like Revelation and Daniel, the fruit doesn't fall far from that tree! (In Romans 11:17-18, Paul writes to the Gentile Believers concerning Jewish Believers:
'But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree, do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you.'
If he does he will be confirmed to be the Antichrist
No mention of a fourth temple as you previously asserted.
still no sale.
So, you’re unable to comprehend John 6?
I’m with you Larry. If one is gong with a third temple as part of God’s plan they you have to get rid of the entire book of Hebrews.
Still, I can here "palaeo" heads exploding over this! But they'll keep claiming Trump as one of their own.
