Francis worships the devil.
Deal with it.

So why was it translated “wrongly” to begin with?
I suspect it’s not but I’ve only ever read the translation.

My wife’s best friend says nothing scares her more than her free will. Not leading us into temptation seems like an acknowledgement of our frailty. That is also the reason I never pray for patience. I have trials of sufficient severity as it is.

Ummmmm, so what do the autographs of the Greek say, using Majority Text Principle?

Current wording suggests God is capable of leading people ‘into temptation’
It seems that the current Pope may be capable of doing this.

The only way that Pope Francis avoids having to account to Jesus for this is if he is thrown alive into the Eternal Lake of Fire. Either way it works for me.

I had already figured this out and did not need popes or bishops to clarify it. On the other hand, when God sees that someone has so embraced their sin that they defy correction (think: Homosexuals), Paul says that God “gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper” (Rom 1:27) so Jesus doesn’t lead us into temptation but God can give them over to depravity if they turn their backs long enough.

Has the Pope ever read the Bible?
Luke 4:1-2
1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, 2 Being forty days tempted of the devil.
FYI, Pope, the Spirit is God, who literally led Jesus Himself into temptation.

One of the wording from the Bible says, “Do not put us to the final test”
“But deliver us from the evil one.”

Matthew chapter 6:9-13
“... Our heavenly Father, hallowed is your name.
Your Kingdom is come. Your will is done,
As in heaven so also on earth.
Give us the bread for our daily need.
And leave us serene,
just as we also allowed others serenity.
And do not pass us through trial,
except separate us from the evil one.
For yours is the Kingdom,
the Power and the Glory
To the end of the universe, of all the universes.” Amen!

I am the one who falls. Its not him pushing me into temptation to then see how I have fallen, he continued. A father doesnt do that, a father helps you to get up immediately. Its Satan who leads us into temptation, thats his department. Sounds like he's been hanging around Joel Osteen too much.
This is the kind of stuff you get from the Word of Faith preachers.
