My wife will lose her foot to amputation tomorrow or Wednesday. She's had a diabetic ulcer for a week or two so we called an ambulance Saturday. They don't think they can save it. She's in the same hospital as her father, so her mother is able to visit. I'm so shook up I can't eat and just lie in bed.

I read up on this - wow - incredibly serious (more than “just” an amputation of a foot). And I can sort of relate due to recent past with both my Mom & Dad: This sort of stuff, when it hits someone you dearly love, can really “daze” you and sap your energy.
You and Barbara are in my thoughts and prayers.
