Stop the Presses! Human Evolution Falsified!
Human bones found in Morocco undermine almost everything that has been taught about human evolution since Darwin. But is that news? Happens every year, doesn’t it?
This news is so hot, we have to get the word out now and wait for a fuller analysis later. Evolutionary paleoanthropology is in big trouble, if a new find in Morocco is as important as the news are making it out to be. Announced in Nature this week, the discoverers are dating bones from five individuals at over 300,000 Darwin Years old – over 100,000 years older than when they thought modern humans first began to emerge. And it was found in northern Africa – not at Olduvai Gorge or in some South African cave where most of the attention has been focused. Added to that, the discoverers found stone tools and chemical evidence of cooking, and are saying these people probably lived all over Africa at the same time!

I’d say its an appearance for age, for those who already assume the bible is not true. The deception is self-deception—not due to the nature of creation.
Again, young earthers consider virtually all sedimentary rock everywhere—and all fossils—products of the great flood.
If you don’t already accept the creation story, and the account of the great flood....than yes, things will have an appearance of great age.

God created it all, be it six thousand years, six million years or sixty billion years. Adam and Eve may be symbolic of the first fully sentient humans or may be the first such individuals. God made them nonetheless, be it individually or through a process. Symbolism is heavy in scripture, as is history. Sometimes the two are difficult to differentiate.
When we meet Him He will explain where we went wrong interpreting His scriptures.

Time, the all purpose explanation by evolutionists. How much time would be needed for random mutations to create DNA? And just how would the evolving species recreate themselves absent that DNA, not to mention all the internal systems that are needed to keep that evolving organism alive? That article is full of strawmen. The stuff coming out of Olduvai is mostly circa 4 million years ago i.e. earliest hominids. Modern “cro-magnon” humans don’t go much earlier than 40,000 years ago. The specimens coming out of Morocco aren’t truly “modern humans”; they have approximately modern facial structure, but other aspects including the brain case are more in line with earlier hominids.

Publish a paper. Get the science out there. Science is rarely settled. Usually it’s not a conspiracy. But you can pretend.

The scientific method is the wrong test when studying origins.
The scientific method is part of empirical science:
1) make observation
2) form question
3) develop hypothesis
4) conduct experiment
5) study results
6) form conclusion
What is called for is historical/forensic science rather than empirical science.
Past events are neither observable nor repeatable so (historical)scientists must make multiple assumptions, inferences, extrapolations and conjectures about the sequence of past events that would lead to present observations.
We all have the same evidence but our presuppositions influence how we interpret what we see.
