PRAYER

Holy God,
Last year is gone, and with it all the foolish mistakes made. Your Grace continues to give us unlimited mercy that forgives our ignoring your will. Without You, the heavy demands and pressures of life would be impossible. With this New Year, we bring our desperate hope for things to become better to move forward, not backward.

Lord, each one of us needs You, as a nation ‘we the people’ need You, and our newly elected President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence need You. Especially, we ask that You give President Trump and Vice President Pence your wisdom, your courage and your strength to govern according to Your will.

Protect this new Administration from the snares and traps of temptations that come with their roles of power. We pray for your protection over them and their families against any evil plan or intention. Help this new administration put the past behind and press forward to serve according to your will and in Your name.

We ask through the name of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.
