People say they don't understand why people convert to Islam. In a lot of cases, they see Muslims actually believe in heir religion. They see Christians who don't.My husband and I lived in Saudi Arabia (Ras Tanura) for five years and we traveled ALL OVER the world.
The world is full of
1. Nice people
2. Jerks
3. In-between those two.
Jerks people this planet and are of ALL races, nationalities and creeds.
*Women DO express their jerk-ness differently than men do.
*Children express their jerk-ness differently than adults do.
*The elderly express their jerk-ness differently than young folks do.
Crabby people are everywhere as well.
Those folks who are ALWAYS cheerful are annoying too.
Thank goodness that it's God's job to take this all into account when it comes our turn for eternity.

I remember seeing a priest saying Mass at the front. I can't remember if it was WW II or the Korean War. It was so moving because so many of those American men WERE going to die.
If the last thing they did was go to Mass and receive Holy Communion, I think that's a good thing.

Heh..Francis would dig that.

Either way, they could’ve waited until *after* church to go to the pool.

“Theology On Tap.”
Like at the Last Supper. They talked theology and drank wine.

They may have watered down their faith, but it surely states the Burning Times are over. Besides, it's hot out there. And I'm sure there's a little more change for the plate in the deep end.

Lots of kids, too. Baptism-age kids.

I think this happens to be an Orthodox priest though, so not Novus Ordo.

Thought I was looking at a Calvary Chapel event circa 1985 until I saw the vestments. At least they’re acknowledging God. He can probably handle it okay.

Oh I could just imagine the lyrics...”When we drink beer we fear no one....we’ll fight the battle ‘till it’s won....”...With kegs we swig of natures ale....our lust of wenches shall not fail...” Or something like that!

Once time at a particular Lutheran Church I went to, the pastor anointed the newly paved parking lot with oil.
It was not even motor oil. Heresy!

Who is that ‘priest’? And did he start off by saying something like, ‘this isn’t Pope Benedict time any more; this is Pope Francis time’?
