My daughter Kelly has been in the hospital all week fighting a blood infection. She was moved to ICU today and put on a ventilator because of severe pneumonia. She is not doing very well and I would appreciate the prayers of our prayer warriors here on Free Republic.
As the evening sets, may the Lord’s healing continue and may all of Kelley’s family and hospital staff be strengthened. We thank you Lord and ask this in Jesus name.

Update:
We spent the day at the hospital. Kelly’s oxygen levels are up and her blood pressure was up. However she is still fighting a blood infection and as of yet they have not pinpointed the site, but they fear it may be in her heart. She is currently on about 10 IV’s, a ventilator and feeding tube. She is on about 5 separate antibiotics. They are keeping her in a drug induced sleep. It is hard to watch, but she is resting peacefully and the doctors are doing all they can.
Her numbers are better than last night so she does appear to be improving. But again, she is not out of the woods and her condition remains very serious. We sincerely appreciate all the prayers from the wonderful prayer warriors here on this site. This is the first time I have had to do my own prayer request thread and the response has been phenomenal.
