I slipped on an ice patch in my own back yard and landed on my left ankle. Please say a prayer for healing

And a caution, as well. Even after your ankle feels fine and seems to do fine when you're walking, it can still give way if you're standing still and put all your weight on it. Be careful with your ankle for a bit longer than they recommend.

I feel for you. Nearly broke my own ankle today, shopping for a walking stick, of all things, displayed on the store steps. Took one step backward. Bad move. Hope you have quick healing and little pain.
May the spirit of the Lord dwell in the hands of those doctors!
My wife broke hers the year before last. She gets around okay now, but it was a long recovery. Take your time and don’t rush it. Prayers for your recovery.

Thank you so much for you and everyone else’s prayers, they really came in handy this morning around 2:30 a.m. when I awoke to realization that the pain medication had wore off. I can tell you that really smarts. It’s quite a bit different being on the receiving end of prayers, I do a lot of praying for others but it’s a whole different perspective from this side that adds a new dimension to understanding from recent experience.
I am praying and offering this trial for all FReeper intentions.

As for being a clutz.....welcome to an exclusive Club: “Human Body Occupiers that have done their best to wreck the joint” .
(I crushed and snapped myself in a floor airvent two years ago. )

Oh yeah, Mrs Infool7 is good under pressure, she noticed that our Sam’s pharmacy would be closing and got a scrip from the PA and made a run for the meds. She picked up a walker and jogging pants from the local resale shop and made it back before they set it. Nothing short of amazing, she is!
