Jews are a contradictory people. Overall, achievement-oriented and very capitalistic, Jewish educational and self-employment statistics are among the highest for any religious group. They are also politically powerful; amounting to roughly 2 percent of the U.S. population half their percentage a half century ago Jews account for nine of 100 U.S. senators and 19 of 435 members of the House.
Yet if Jews have achieved significant economic and political power, they have done so primarily as Democrats. Only one of the 28 Jews in Congress is a Republican Lee Zeldin from New Yorks Long Island and the one independent, Vermonts Bernie Sanders, is enough of a Democrat to be running, with surprising success, for that partys presidential nomination.
This conundrum befuddles some conservatives. Ann Coulter, the Rights blonde shock jock, recently thundered about why Republicans were so anxious to support Israel, asking, How many fing Jews do these people think there are in the United States? And there is still Pat Buchanan, who reflects classic anti-Semitic notions of Jews as a cabal with divided loyalties....

How vile. I haven’t laid eyes on Ann Coulter in a while, but I hope she doesn’t still wear a cross around her neck. She reeeeally doesn’t get it.
Anti semitism is on the rise all over the world and it’s even growing here in the US. And it’s roots and base here is among the left.
I almost know no Jew here in L.A. who votes GOP. They’re all Americanized, self hating, FU israel jews who love the Donkey party of Dimwits.
Why do 70% of US Jews go head-over-heels IN LOVE with a Prez who would turn them into soap and destroy Israel...?
Never before had we had a Prez so utterly clear with his hate for them, yet this only endears him to US Jews.
Thanatos...?
Please they will all stick with democraps. Like always.
I have thar same problem with my family. I’m ostracized because I’m a Jewish Republican who has a Cruz bumper sticker on my car.
I love my family. I just don’t understand them. Now they can’t wait to vote for Hillary.
Ann is disgusting and causes an unnecessary amount of trouble, for the occasional jab she profits at the expense of the Left. She does cost Republicans, possibly more than she’s worth.
Yep, you are right.
And though many stories say many of them Jews are fleeing the dems for the GOP,
What will happen is instead of 90 percent voting dem, probably only
87 percent will.
And this group is supposed to be about the best edumacated group in America???
One needn’t think to be on the left. It’s comforting to the many.
Conservatism requires constant and consistent thought.
As you can see on this thread it is also present on the right.
How so? Be specific, please.
Pretty sad.
The vast majority of Jews are Democrats, thus our political opponents. This isn’t antisemitism, it’s just a fact. I don’t hold anything against Jewish people, but I wholeheartedly disagree with the political leanings of most of them.

If someone uses politics to target the Jews as a group it can become antisemitism, albeit using politics instead of religion as the filter. For example, some Holocaust deniers/apologists blame the Jews themselves for the Holocaust due to the politics of the majority of the German Jews.

But if you want to talk world-wide, we can. The US and Israel account for ~85%* of Jewish people world-wide. We've already covered the US, so let's look at Israel. government-subsidized universal healthcare system (with compulsory insurance)?** Check. State-funded abortion-on-demand for women 20-33?*** Check. De facto abortion-on-demand for the rest of the population (requires approval of a death-panel which approves the vast majority of requested abortions)? Check. Those darn dog-whistles! Is it also a micro-aggression, per chance?
I reiterate my previous statement, I have nothing against Jewish people. There are Jews in my extended family, I've worked with Jews, traveled with Jews, stayed with Jews...But I'm not going to pretend that the political views most of them hold are correct, or even rationally explicable.
Unfortunately, their education only reinforces their left wing ideas.
