Raymond Arroyo, news anchor of the largest Catholic cable channel in the world, says that he was struck by how political Pope Francis talk at the White House this morning was. He said the Popes talk had a political edge.

Sad to say, the answer is "No."
The faithful need to remind him that this is the "Prime Directive" for every single Bishop, and he is not the exception to the rule.
ping
can a pope be recalled?
Raymond Arroyo is very dependable on Catholic matters. Very informed very thoughtful.
Besides EWTN, Mr Raymond Arroyo is also a regular on the Laura Ingraham show.
Pope Che ain’t got time for Jesus.
All his time is spent on social justice and global warming.
27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion.

I’m not catholic but your pope needs to be impeached or whatever you do to get rid of him, I think it’s usually murder. He needs to stay out of politics and do his catholic thing.
In posting this thread, my hope is that Christians of all traditions would pray that the Bishop of Rome proclaim the Name of our Lord Jesus with boldness.
I keep asking if he's a legitimate Pope, since the previous one is still alive. Folks in the know say he is.
It's weird. One doesn't go to a Pope for an inspiring message about climate change or the wisdom of Martin Luther King Jr. What the US needs now is a strong voice opposing the slaughter of pre-born and just born infants. Maybe something about putting prayer in our lives. Climate change??
Absolutely!
I miss him.
Every single day. :(
My gosh, he is that Raymond Arroyo! Good to know. Thank-you. I used to watch EWTN “religiously” until I got sick of this pope.
This Pope is a south american Chavista.... And that’s all there is to it.
Yes, he is. Five previous Popes before Benedict XVI resigned and their successors were elected while they were still alive. However, Benedict XVI is the first one to resign due to advanced age. The most recent Pope before him to resign (Pope Gregory XII) did so to end a schism.
EWTN is faithful.
...and most of the analysts etc. are orthodox Catholic.
Calm down folks. He spoke nothing but Jesus. He differs from us on global warming....he hasnt said it is now an 11th commandment.
I am sure he likes different foods than I and I can live with that. Probably loves Obama as a child of God....though that really sticks in my throat spmetimes.
Does he have to mention abortion every second? JUST his standing there in the media lens is freaking out the devil and the abortion lobby.
I’ll pray with you.
