Wednesday on Bloomberg TV’s “With All Due Respect,” host Mark Halperin and John Heilemann asked Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump what his favorite Bible verse is.
Trump has said many times on the campaign trail the Bible is his favorite book.
Heilemann asked, “You mentioned the Bible and talked about how it was your favorite book and you said, I think last night on in Iowa, some people are surprised you say that. I am wondering what one or two of your most favorite Bible verses are and why?”
Trump answered, “I wouldn’t want to get into it because to me that’s very personal. You know when I talk about the Bible it’s very personal.I don’t want to get into it.”
Heilemann asked, “There no verse that means a lot to you that you think about about or cite?”

Could he name ANY Bible verse? Any book of the Bible? Can he name one of the two Testaments? Does he think the Bible was written by elves?

The Bible is not a personal thing.......not at all.
I thought it was odd that he mentioned the Bible several times. I assume he did that only 1) because he was in Iowa, 2) he was trying to make up for his comment about not seeking forgiveness from God.
Trump probably cannot name any verse from the Bible. He claims his parents took him to Norman Vincent Peale’s church when he was a child. He has probably not set foot inside any church since he was in his teens because he is a non-believe who acts as if God does not exist.
