Catholics are smart enough to know that we don't, can't, and won't know until the judgment.
The problem is that Christians who are sure about going to heaven aren’t bragging on it nor are they bragging on it based on their works.
We don’t consider our works to count for any brownie points for salvation unlike Catholics who are depending on them and bragging on their works like going to mass, confession, being baptized, taking communion, working in the soup kitchens, etc.
Christians ask God to save them in His mercy and He does and we’re sure of it.
Why?
Because He promised and we know He can’t lie. So we trust Him.
