Excerpted:
What Catholic mysticism does is reject the Bible as the sole and sufficient and perfect revelation of God and tries to delve beyond the Bible, even beyond thought of any kind, and find God through mystical intuition. In other words, it is a rejection of the God of the Bible. It says that God cannot be known by doctrine and cannot be described in words. He can only be experienced through mysticism. This is a blatant denial of the Bibles claim to be the very Word of God.
This opens the practitioner to demonic delusion. He is left with no perfect objective revelation of God, no divinely-revealed authority by which he can test his mystical experiences and intuitions. He is left with an idol of his own vain imagination (Jeremiah 17:9) and a doctrine of devils.

She (Sue Monk Kidd) determined that she was willing to lose her marriage, if necessary.
"I would not, could not forfeit my journey for my marriage or for the sake of religious acceptance or success as a Christian writer. I would keep moving in my own way to the strains of feminine music that sifted up inside me, not just moving but embracing the dance. ... I felt the crumbling of the old patriarchal foundation our marriage had rested upon in such hidden and subtle ways. Though both of us would always need to compromise, there was no more sacrificing myself, no more revolving around him, no more looking to him for validation, trying to be what I thought he needed me to be. My life, my time, my decisions became newly my own" (pp. 98, 125).

Thank you ladies for not needing anyone to explain ANYTHING to you, and for bringing Christian children into the world. Mary understood it too, as she and Joseph had a ton of kids, half brothers and sisters of Jesus, two of whom, James and Jude, wrote in the New Testament. James, also being the leader of the Jerusalem church. So, in other words, Mary and Joseph did the "evil deed," and rumor has it, they liked it. 😱🙀🙈🙉

A Memorial Day Limerick in salute to all who have served, and all the wonderful people who supported them in their noble endeavors.
There was an actor, named L Neville Brand
Though I don't think he had it all planned
A hero from the Second World War
He was that, and much much more
And in his westerns always wore a neckband

And another
At Pearl Harbor he got information
And did the best he could for the nation
He did point to Battleship Row
Made Anderson feel pretty low
Yelling Captain, THERE'S YOUR CONFIRMATION

And another
At Pearl Harbor, a General named Short
It was learned in the Inquiry of Court
Had ordered the B Seventeens
Parked so close they were easily seen
By the Japanese as they attacked the airport.

The crew on the bridge of the Ward
Watched closely and never were bored
A sub was seen at the net
And the story gets better yet
Now the bottom is home for those warlords.

Well, it is your thread, but hey, it IS Memorial Day
There once was a Battle called Midway
In which Yamamoto thought he could play
The U.S. fleet was already waiting
On thin ice enemy ships were skating
As Nimitz welcomed them into the fray

I am on a roll, don't stop me.🇺🇸✈️
Two officers did fly their airframe
To an airfield, that still has no name
They quickly became heroes
Shooting down all those zeroes
In the USAF they claimed their fame.

You need someone to explain to you that the woman has no choice about whether that egg is fertilized and implants.
A basic high school biology course would be a vast help to you.

A pilot the North Viets had to face
Flying F4s from Obon Air Base
Robin Olds became like a king
Commanding the 8th Fighter Wing
In the big war and Vietnam, was an ace.
A tribute to the late Brigadier General Robin Olds, the only USAF fighter pilot ace, from World War 2 and Vietnam.

Spruance, not Nimitz — credit where credit is due; esp to the eight (IIRC) USN Hero torpedo plane crews gloriously sacrificed their lives to seal the fate of four Nipponese flat-tops with their loads of aircraft and crew complements.

The only thing she has to say is yes, to her husband, you know, the same thing the Virgin Mary said to Joseph, which resulted in Mary having a bunch of kids. Joseph and Mary just did what came naturally.

Fulfilled The God's command to multiply in a blessed union to replenish the earthly sphere and have dominion over it. Mary and Joseph did indeed sir. It is commonly reported there are still some people around that think Mary remained a virgin her whole life, thereby defrauding her husband, which is prohibited by the Word of God. (1 Cor 7:5)

I believe every single torpedo bomber was shot down, but it forced the Japanese CAP down to the surface, thereby leaving the SBDs virtually unopposed, to do a number on the Japanese Carriers. I think the only survivor of the torpedo bombers, was one Ensign Gay, who spent the day in the ocean, watching the whole battle. Happy Memorial Day to you RDMD1. 🇺🇸🇵🇭

There once was a General named Doug
On Corregidor all needed ear plugs.
The artillery was crashing
The fortress it was smashing
But he returned without even a shrug.
