This is unadulterated rubbish. It was the Catholic Church, based on Petrine authority, that affirmed the canonical texts in AD 382. This was the case for eleven centuries. Petrine authority did not vanish live a dove taking flight with the advent of the Reformation.

“For where two or three are gathered together unto my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
The term “in my name: has royal meaning. It is understood as meaning “in all what I teach.”
Christ taught ONE truth and established ONE Church for ALL times, and it has ONE Credo.
We don’t need 30,000 variations of Protestantism instructing different interpretations.

There is not one Protestant PROFESSIONAL historian—i.e., someone who has an actual professional reputation he cares about—who would confirm any of those preposterous statements.

The current majority of the US population is "non-Catholic Christian" including a large number of people who claim to be Catholic but who have adopted Protestantism just like Nancy Pelosi who made that clear several years ago. The current US society is the fruit that "non-Catholic Christian" fable.
The hedonistic state of this country proves the non-Catholic Protestant and Protestant derived heresies have all failed to create anything like a solid Christian foundation among the sheep in the tens thousands of flocks that claim they're Christian in spite of producing nothing but the corrupt fruit that now passes for "Western Culture".
The anti-Catholic crowd peddles the doctrine of Self and Self Alone which without fail leads to nothing except following the path of least resistance as the current state of US society so clearly proves. Rather than walk a better Christian walk and try to recover their own lost sheep, though, these obviously failed interpreters of Christ's message attempt to hide their failure behind their attacks on The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Jesus Christ Himself founded.
Their attacks are a huge, glowing, neon lit, admission that their doctrines are false.
My priest said in a homily that “true” had a different interpretation in the ancient church. That “truth” meant “to be faithful to”. That the one true church reflects the consistent faith of the church and it’s members passed down through mass for hundreds and thousands of years.
That the “one true church” is not an indictment of other churches. Only an affirmation of everlasting and united faith of the Holy Catholic Church.
The writer asks, ‘How can this not be the one true church?’ after carefully conflating the institutional church and the spiritual Church. This is subtle but typical deception.
The One True Church consists of all those who believe that Jesus Christ is Savior and Lord, Son of the Father, died for our sins and was resurrected.
