...The church is prioritizing climate change just months after the Scripps Institution of Oceanography's Veerabhadran "Ram" Ramanathan organized a Vatican meeting on the issue.
Ramanathan said the discussion, which spanned four days in May, was encouraging.

I thought it would have been Algore.
Al Gore did win the Catholic vote in 2000.
Stunning - more martyrs in the Middle East in the last 2 years than there have been in the last 2000, and the Big Papa is worried about this?
It is much to be preferred that Christian churches tell the story of forgiveness of sins and salvation through faith in the redemptive works of Jesus, the Christ, God’s Messiah.
Let those possessed of sound knowledge in the relevant fields of scientific inquiry deal with propagandizing the cause of controlling our lives through atmospheric warming hyperbole. Or not.
This is getting out of hand.
However, it would be just as germane to blame ALL your fellow Americans.
I'm not proud of that, either. It stinks even more. But it does look like (collectively --- I mean ALL of usn's) got what we deserved.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
Yes, Catholics tend to vote with the pro-abortion forces and atheists, not with the rest of the Christians, in all of those elections, the majority of the Christians who are not Catholic, voted for the pro-life right.
The Catholic denomination is one that almost always votes for the democrat presidents with only a single handful of historical exceptions.
The following statement is excerpted from an editorial on PewSitter.com
>>Surveying marginal and unfaithful Catholics about their opinions on doctrine and morals is of course exactly what youd expect from a Church in full-scale demolition. A functional Church would be inculcating, not searching out in the dark for answers. But the writers of these surveys dont really want input from the outside either. They know where they are leading us. Its enough that they appear to be gathering hard data.<<
It is shameful, but the best predictive indicators for voting patterns are not education, creed or church affiliation, but race, enthnicity, and zip code.
It is indeed rather sickening.
No, blacks and Hispanic Christians are always factored in to the total, non-catholic Christian vote.
The majority of the non-Catholic Christians vote pro-life, and republican, and as far as non-Catholic denominations that don’t, well no one is defending them, we probably have almost no members here that belong to them, or fight for them, but we do have those who fight for the Catholic vote.
Watch how the Catholic denomination’s voting and immigration agenda is defended so fiercely, even on a conservative forum and you will better understand the Catholic vote and Catholic politics.
We do have opinions about GW. It’s just not the opinion Dear Leader wants us to have. tough
He is one of the "scientific" faces of the globalist cabal which is seeking to co-opt the moral authority of world religious leaders for its own ends. Is Pope Francis a dupe or a co-conspirator?

I guess my relatives are the exceptions.
Most of my relatives are both Catholic and Republican.
My late uncle, a Catholic, was also a GOP party official in New York State years ago.
Thanks for sharing, but of course there are many exceptions, but if they are Catholic republicans, the odds are that they are somewhat moderate, compared to Evangelical republicans.
Even the Catholics that vote republican, tend to be more moderate republicans, you can even see that on FR when immigration comes up.
The man in Italy knows what he is doing as he sends out his message to the world’s Catholics.
Ah, but this is considered to be righteousness building by those of the “works-based” belief system.
Collective salvation through “caring”.
Phony science, phony pope.
I think some people just feel better when they can take their eyes off of the corruption of the American electorate as a whole, and console themselves that it's the Catholics' fault.
