The reason for this article is to determine if the worship/veneration given to Mary by the catholic church is justified from a Biblical perspective. This will be evaluated using the Biblical standard and not mans standard.

As we have witnessed since the 16th century, there has been no end of mud slung against the Catholic Church, and amongst fellow Protestants. It is a sad state of affairs when people who all claim to follow Jesus Christ attack each other. I don't think that most of these are Protestants, but rather Catholics that separated from their Catholic roots. They have joined a variety of modern sects, groups and cults. The shared common component is antiCatholicism. In attacking Catholicism they can validate their choices, reassure themselves they (think) have eternal life no matter what they do. They keep trying, as it were, to scratch off that indelible mark and remove any mark of who they really are, Catholics who have separated from the church.

You dont answer the question. This one?
Why are you so rude and insulting? ?
Perhaps instead of assuming ones opinions of anothers religion are facts, one should endeavor to actually learn from the primary source.
When official Catholics sources ARE used; you guys on FR usually ignore them
I find that quite rude.
If you want to DISAGREE; then do so in a kind and friendly manner.

Doesn’t aggravate me at all.
Actually, I rather enjoy it.
It demonstrates that your waving of the “Call no man Father” banner means nothing to you in your own private life; it’s merely a weapon you use in an attempt to discredit the Catholic church.

waving of the Call no man Father bannerIn other words... deflect or divert from truth as found in Scripture!

Yep, use Satan to support your bashing and hatred.

We (and you) have it easy because Jesus paid a price for us on Calvary that you cannot imagine.
Your/my good deeds are filthy rags in the eyes of God (Isaiah 64:6).
Purgatory insults the price that our Lord paid for your Salvation.
Would I suffer a thousand years for my Lord if He ask me too. Of course...but it wouldn't be suffering because I have His love in my heart.
It would be a pleasure to suffer for my beloved.
You have been lied to. But not because those who lied knew they were lying.
Satan twists the hearts of men and they don't even know it.
Religion built by men is false by nature. That's the way we do things.
Jesus on the other hand...

Some people are just obsessed.
Recall that there were Japanese soldiers on Pacific islands that didn’t surrender for decades after the war ended.
