He has always been a fragile child with multiple problems, so the family knew that his time here was most likely going to be short-but they are heartbroken tonight. They need continued prayers for comfort.
My friend (his foster mom) needs prayers too. She has been under tremendous stress , and she was recently told that she has skin cancer. (Fortunately, it is the easiest type to treat. I just wish this wasn't happenning to her on top of everything else).
It's hard to deal with this, because we were all hoping that he was going to be doing better than he ever had. The surgeries they did recently were succesful, and he was making great progress. But I guess it just wasn't meant to be.
Sebastian was a special little boy, who, in spite of his limitations, almost always had a bright smile on his face that would light up the whole room. He never walked or talked in his short 12 years but he had a profound effect on everyone around him. He was always happy and loved to play with his toys (He could use his hands.) And he loved music. He will be missed. While he did not get his miracle, I know that he will be with Jesus now, and that he won't be suffering, or have any limitations.
His family wants to donate some of his healthy organs so that other children can live.
I think it's good that a part of him will be living on in another child, and that through that child he will get to do all the things he couldn't do while he was here.
And that child's family will get a miracle .

I am so sorry for the loss of this little boy. My prayers will be with those who loved him and will now mourn his loss. God Bless and comfort them all.

Sad news indeed. My heart goes out to the brave and loving foster family of this little boy. May God bless them for all they have done and are doing for others.

My family and I had been praying for Sebastian everyday since your first post about him back in July regarding his gastric surgery. Now praying for his loved ones and for the repose of his soul.
