Islam translates to “submission.” All will be peace when all have submitted to the will of Allah. The will of Allah is what I say it is. It is different for every interpreter and each Muslim considers himself the one and only interpreter. He doesn’t have to be an Imam. But if there’s an Imam with followers he’ll defer. If you’re Muslim surrounded by Christians it is your right and your duty to make them into Dhimmis (essentially lower class or possibly slave, interpretations vary) or collect jzya (tax owed to Muslims for not being Muslim) or simply to kill them and rape their woman. Oh, making them into slaves and eunuchs is okay too. There was no call in the Ottoman empire to limit or do away with slavery. It only ended after the Ottoman empire collapsed following WW1. Incidentally, most eunuchs were black African men. The process was to insert hollow reeds down their penis, then cut off the penis and testicles.
