Full Title: Obama Spiritual Adviser and Megachurch Pastor Joel Hunter Launches Interfaith Initiative to Tackle Climate Change
Florida pastor Joel Hunter is launching an initiative that empowers multifaith leaders to lead and engage others on climate solutions.
The initiative, called Blessed Tomorrow, brings together more than 20 evangelical, Catholic, Protestant, Muslim and Jewish leaders who are committed to working with their congregations and communities in response to climate change.
Blessed Tomorrow empowers faith leaders from across religious traditions to both steward Gods creation and inspire their congregations, communities and other leaders to do the same, a statement says.
Faith leaders and their communities have been at the forefront of moving America forward throughout our nations history. From abolition to human rights, we have been there to answer our call to care for all of Gods creation. Blessed Tomorrow builds on that tradition by bringing together a diverse group of leaders from across the country who are committed to making an impact on one of the greatest moral imperatives of our timeclimate change, says Hunter, senior pastor of Northland, a Church Distributed, in Central Florida.
The Blessed Tomorrow website provides resources that leaders can use to inspire and empower their congregations and communities. It also allows congregations to create a Path to Positive plan, which helps congregations be better stewards of Gods creation.
The YBPDLN Ping List is generally published infrequently but based on the exploits of the megachurch pastors posts can spike for a season. If you would like on or off of this list please FReepmail me.

the FIrst Church of Commie Propaganda>?
Seriously , it was only a matter of time before all this Climate Hysteria resulted in a OUTFRONT “spiritual movement”
It’ll be great to see this guy’s congregants desert him.
More idolatrous apostacy from the “Evangelical” Left.
The “Catholic leader” referenced in this story is not a clergyman, but a bureaucrat working for the USCCB office.
I can hardly wait to confront a few lefties over this one.
Gee, what a great way to indoctrinate people into a one-world religion! /sarcasm
Interesting how liberals who tend to be “spiritual” (i.e. don’t believe in God) are now pushing politics from the pulpit. It’s really sad to see the Christian faith being perverted so easily. This priest is one of the deceivers just as “Reverend Wright” has nothing to do with Christianity.
Bet these ministers of The Church of What’s Happenin’ Now (remember Flip Wilson?) don’t worry about telling their groupies how to escape the fires of Hell. That is an untouchable subject in pulpits today, where politics rules the day.
Florida pastor Joel Hunter is thinking he will be one of those leading it. He has no right to even be calling himself a pastor.
Can this be for real? Pastor Hunter and others have apparently decided that becoming a tool of the Agenda 21 crowd is better than leading the lost to Christ; saving souls.
This time it’s you who needs to repent, Pastor.
They are quickly becoming a cult. Virgin sacrifices right around the corner.
"When Hell freezes over!"
Obama promised BIG BUCKS ?
Looked at the church’s web site. Appears to be a standard evangelical mega church....but Pastor Joel is taking a sabbatical in July.

Perhaps he is going to spring some new kookiness on his flock.
Hunter is a charlatan. The leader of a faithless church.
“’Faith leaders and their communities have been at the forefront of moving America forward throughout our nations history. ... bringing together a diverse group of leaders from across the country who are committed to making an impact on one of the greatest moral imperatives of our timeclimate change,’ says Hunter, senior pastor of Northland, a Church Distributed, in Central Florida.”
Psuedo-religious speak for leftwingers who have not only infiltrated government, the universities, the media, but also the pulpits.
