Miraculous claims surrounding the coming forth of the Book of Mormon are an evidence of the prophetic calling of Joseph Smith. Critics intent on discrediting the Restoration point to DNA studies on indigenous American peoples in an attempt to expose Joseph, the Book of Mormon, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as frauds. Claiming that scientific evidence excludes any possibility that Middle Eastern or ancient Jewish travelers came to the Americas in antiquity, such critics attempt to sow seeds of doubt in the minds of Latter-day Saints and those of other faiths concerning the authenticity of the Book of Mormon as an ancient religious text.
Are these studies credible? Do the data actually show what the critics claim? Do they discredit the Book of Mormon, or is there biological and other scientific evidence that supports the claims that it is indeed an ancient record of a people that once inhabited the Americas?
The Foundation for Apologetic Information and Research (FAIR) interviews scholars and scientists to answer these important questions and reveals the faith-affirming truth that not only are the critics' conclusions and methods flawed, but that there is credible scientific evidence in favor of the Book of Mormon as an ancient religious text.
That was plural... no one in particular
Mormon was a prophet on the western hemisphere from the tribe of Joseph.

There is no tribe of Joseph..
if a guy named Mormon was a descendant of the Joseph in the Bible, he would have been listed...
Is FARMS/FAIR/LSD Inc feeding you this trite or are you just pulling it from where ever in desperation ???
that’s alright think what you want dear!:)
It just "happened" to be a in a post addressed to me in a reply to a post BY me, but was to "no one in particular"????
The rules apply to you as well as to Tennessee Nana!

Don’t try using the Christian Bible to prove a point about Mormonism...
Mormonism is not proven by the Christian Bible..
You cut and pasted Bible scripture which did not include the word Mormon..
not is the western hemisphere mentioned in the Bible...
nor any “tribe of Joseph”, Biblical Joseph or the Joseph Smith family..
why did you do that ???
You can find them to just look up saints in topical guide!:)
BTW to help you feel better Christian is mention in the Book of Mormon
Moroni1 prays for blessings of liberty as long as Christians remain to possess land: Alma 46:13, 16 .
true believers are called Christians: Alma 46:1415 .
cause of liberty is called cause of Christians: Alma 48:10 .
Mormon was a prophet on the western hemisphere from the tribe of Joseph.
Ezek 37

Why would I have to look in any other book when I can just as easily read the Bible...
and since I have read the Bible starting at age 3..I learnt to read using our 2nd great grandfather’s 1860 Bible..
I KNOW the word Mormon is not in the Bible..
The Book of Mormon is the record of Joseph.
This thread (and others) are a record of your deception.
GOD does NOT allow you that option:
1 Peter 3:15
... be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you.
But you've shown no willingness to actually FOLLOW any scripture that has been posted.
Sometimes your dyslexia seems to work FOR you...

Yes I know the term saints is in the Bible..Ive read it there ..
But that term does not pertain to Mormons..
the word saint is a term meaning the followers and believers in the LORD Jesus Christ of the Holy Bible only..
a saint is someone who has been born again while they were still alive...
dead people do not become saints after they die having led a life of denying God..
neither Joey Smith nor his followers are saints according to the Bible...
you can call yourself what you like but it doesn’t make you so..
Joey Smith wasn’t a saint by Bible definition..
Warren Jeffs is not a saint by Bible definition..
Tommy Monson is not a saint by Bible definition..
The term saint in the Bible does not fit the Mormon explanation of the term...
Ignore whatever you want, deer.
What ELSE can be used, as the Book of MORMON sure is useless to prove ANYTHING!!!
