Time to insist that their “Catholic” theologian’s license be pulled. These colleges are ignoring Pope Benedict’s call for authentic Catholic instruction. US bishops, especially those from the liberal enclaves of Sam Francisco are spineless.

What percentage of “gays” were sexually molested as minors?

These "theologians" are Jesuits, a heretical, largely homosexual sect within the Catholic Church. Far from the original Holy Order established by St Ignatius, their absurdities are no longer a surprise. They in fact have abandoned their defining allegiance to the papacy and are no longer even considered by many to be loyal Catholics.

As a Sola Scripturist lol, homosexuality is condemned in the Bible and it is against Christian teachings. A civil union with full state rights (but not extra rights) should suffice the sodomites.

When will there be a divorce of the Catholic church from the Jesuits?

Maquire has been a stain on Marquette for decades. That he remains is a tragedy.

There is nothing so perverse a gay marriage. Marriage is an agreement between a man and a women for the purpose of procreation. The idea of a couple of perverts joining together for the perpose of defeating procreation is illogical. The real purpose for the gay marriage argument is to take from the status of the intitution as an honorable one, and the eventual dismantlement of the social morays that place homosexuality were it is in people’s minds. The argument for ‘gay marriage’ is an evil one.

The Jesuits in general, and Daniel Maguire in particular, went off the rails, as regards the Catholic faith, a LONG time ago.

You will usually find that theologins in catholic and protestant churches in favor of homosexuality are also converts to the arian heresy. (the arian heresy is why conservative catholic and evangelical churches regularly recite the Nicean creed.) why this confluence?

According to the Arian heresy Jesus just a man. a very good man but nevertheless just a man.

The problem here is that this reduces the central mystery of Christianity to a human sacrifice.

Anyone familiar with archaeology knows that human sacrifice was practiced at one time in the middle east europe asia south asia oceana and the americas. The practice of human sacrifice was almost always accompanied by homosexuality in the priesthood.

Even if one does not admit to the divinity of Jesus, one does have to admit that he is the primary driver for the abolishion of human sacrifice throughout the world—a practice that runs deep into prehistory.

For some reason human sacrifice and homosexuality inhabit the same moral universe. (which is why homosexuals sudden growth in power began at the same time as the institution of roe v wade.)

Time for these un-Catholic profs to take a hike and not teach in a Catholic college.

It is hard for me to imagine any theologian, after considering the history and tradition of the Church AND the history and tradition of the Bible, coming out with the uneducated mess that comes out of the mouths of these in this article.

I’m not proud of our Canadian and British allies in their efforts to squelch, through power of law and abolition of free speech, the religious and biblical understandings of homosexuality, but AT LEAST I know they’re GOOD READERS.

They decided against the stupid game of “It doesn’t really say that” regarding homosexuality, because they evidently took the time to read Church history and the Bible, and being LITERATE, they concluded the obvious — Church history and the Bible truly do vehemently oppose homosexuality.

These Jesuits are not theologians. They are theo-dalliants, wasting everyone’s time with an illiterate view of what is clear to everyone else.
