May I ask you to pray for my nephews 6 1/2 year old son? He was on a camping trip with family, and they were toasting marshmellows and the little guy swung the red hot wire hanger they were using for the toasting right into his precious eye, by accident of course! He is in surgery right now.His parents are Christians and attend Church with their beloved family. He is the sweetest little boy. Kind and very well mannered. He is adored by all. Thank you so much for your prayers and may Our Lord bless richly you. Please feel free to put this on your church or Prayer Group Prayer List.Thank you again.

I’m bringing your dear nephew before The Great Physician.
I cannot believe how painful that must be. Praying for his parents.

“I roasted marshmallows on hangars hot from the fire from as far back as I can remember thats how you make SMores.
This is just a sad accident that happens to kids.” Like Ralphie’s “Christmas Story” Red Ryder BB gun.
Or Foxworthy’s “I remember standing on the bench seat beside my dad while he was driving (that’s how small I was) and hollerin’, “Faster, Dad, faster!”
Or Bucky Covington: “We were born to mothers who smoked and drank,
Our cribs were covered in lead based paint.
No child proof lids no seat belts in cars,
Rode bikes with no helmets and still here we are, still here we are.”

Gosh, this is terrible news. Prayers offered for the little guy . . . May the Lord help heal and protect him, and may his family be strong in this time of difficulty.

Thank you all for your prayers for our beloved little guy.
The surgery was postponed three times! It was a long wait, but hopefully, well worth it. My Mom( his Grandmother) told his Mother how many dedicated FReepers were praying for our precious little guy, and they were so appreciative and overwhelmed! He was able to keep the eye and has some stitches in his eye, that will have to be removed at a later date. Thank you again for your prayers and concern. Our God is a wonder working God! Praise the Name of Jesus!

Thanks for the update!
That is great news about keeping the eye! Poor kid is going to be sore for a while, but it beats the heck out of losing an eye!
Prayers for his good recovery and for you and your family! Hopefully people can get a little rest now...
