I want to thank you all for your prayers during this time of trial. Our Regina left in a beautiful prayer service which began around 2:30 pm. Monsignor Little lead it with all the family, many friends and we prayed her into Heaven! She officially passed around 3:30pm. We will need the prayers to continue because as we know this is God's will; We still miss Regina who is a vital member of our family! Jesus I Trust in You!

God has welcomed this child into eternal rest.
And he will guide and comfort her family who mourn.
So very sad, but what a blessing that Regina’s family was with her as the angels led her into God’s Heavenly Kingdom. I’ll add a prayer request, on our Parish Prayer list, for the Repose of her soul, and for God’s peace for her family.

I am so, so sorry. I am so saddened by this news. Although I do not personally know this family, I feel a closeness to her family since we have received updates. Please express my sympathy and our prayers will continue for Regina and her family.

I just came back to this thread for an update and it is certainly not what I was praying for. It is not our place to question the decisions of the Lord, but it is often painful to live with them. The Sweeney Family will remain in my prayers and I will trust with them that little Regina is resting at peace in the arms of Our Lord. May they find comfort in that knowledge.
May Regina’s soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
