Here is a poll question that would like to know what religion we Freepers consider ourselves.
What Religion Are You Freeper?
I know that most Freepers consider ourselves to be a Christian, but there are many of you Freepers who tend to keep your religion to yourselves and basically stick to the political issues. However, inquiring minds would like to know, and it would only take few seconds to answer the poll question.

The place is a beautiful area of the city, adjoining the Emory University campus. I never met a Druid—that I know of—so can’t say for sure. However, I always said that someday I would research how the area came to be known as Druid-Hills.

Was it not the religious class that said put Him to death?
Religion says if I do this then God does that.

But I cant understand the holy trinity concept. So in that respect I definitely identify with mormons.
Just because you cannot grasp the concept of "Three Who's and a What" (The Holy Trinity), does not mean you should identify with those who have led millions to the darkest regions of eternity.
You bring up some good points and I can offer a few of my insights for you. As for other questions you may have, I could answer them to the best of my ability and probably have you realize that you are most likely a non denominational evangelical Christian like I who never could get over all the actions of the hypocrites I saw in church.
Then I learned exactly what Paul meant when he wrote the paragraph in
Romans 7:15-25. I never really understood it until I heard by a man I have the utmost respect for, explain it to me. In laymen terms, what Paul meant is that he identifies himself with other Christians who are basically schizophrenic. I say schizophrenic because we all fail at that which we know we should do. That which we should not do is what we actually do, and so we know that we need something else to help us.
See only a perfect undefiled individual can stand in the presence of a perfect Holy God, and that is not us. We need Christ Jesus the perfect lamb who shed his blood so that hypocritical schizophrenic Christians like myself can someday spend eternity in the light which those who follow the teachings of Joseph Smith will miss out on.
You are correct that we do not need a pope or central figurehead to stand in the gap because Christ has done it for us. However we do need eachother, so in that sense we do need somke sort of organization to keep us close.
Many Christians think they can do it alone, but lone Christians only become easy prey for Satan and his lies. So unless we keep amongst other Christians we will begin to fall into heresy and that is the beginning of real trouble.
You or anyone else can contact me here and we can start a dialog that may be beneficial to you. onevike@ymail.com

Show me one branch of christianity besides mormons, that are not extinct, that don’t believe in the idea of “3 gods in one”.
I just cannot wrap my brain around that 3in1 concept. They are 3 separate...one is the boss(creator), and the other two are his helpers...his prime minister and his sectretary of defense, so to speak. Otherwise I don’t understand.

God’s wisdom is foolishness to man. Throughout the Scriptures it alludes to the concept of the Trinity, yet we as mortal men, who do not have the faith of a mustard seed, cannot understand the easiest things of God.
It is not for you to understand in a way that you would like, but to ignore the attributes of God and His infinite power and wisdom is folly. To ignore the facts of the Holy Trinity, is to ignore the facts that the universe is but a mere 6 to 10 thousand years old. Men say they are way to smart and thus they deny God’s ability to create what He did in the time he said he did.
That being said, why would you be able to grasp it without first putting your mustard seed of faith into him to allow you to possibly grasp it? I know it and I can grasp it, but unless you open your mind like a parachute it will not float in you brain for you to grasp that which is very clear in the Scriptures.

I chose unaffiliated Evangelical.
However,
I’M VERY UNHAPPY that you did not have a
Charismatic/Pentecostal option.
We are one of the largest chunks of Evangelicals in the world.
Assemblies of God have furnished more missioniaries most years than anyone else for decades. Sometimes the Southern Baptists beat the AoG out on that score.
In South America, it is the Charismatics and Pentecostals who are bringing apostate and name only RC’s and even a lot of earnest, dedicated and educated RC’s into Evangelical Christianity.
In Asia, it is Charismatics and Pentecostals who most typically demonstrate the power of the Gospel and of Jesus’ Blood against demonic forces as is also true in South America and Africa.
We far more than deserve our own slot in your poll.
I think you should redo it.

***Religion, or lack thereof?
I claim no belief in any deity.

I believe my friend Kosta has detected a possible belief in pink unicorns on Jupiter by some posters here. Or the unreasonable equivalent. :)

My only problem with the question is not what religion we think we are, but what religion does Jesus think we are..
