You were asking — [If] ... The thousand years ended awhile ago, why hasn’t He returned and established His Kingdom on Earth?
—
Very simply, some people preach a “weenie Jesus” who “hides out in your heart” — until you (all the Christians) take over the world by storm — and when things “check out okay and it’s *safe* for Him” — then Jesus will show His face here...
He wants to make darned sure that Satan isn’t around before He comes back, doncha know. :-)
What can I say, some people teach a “coward Jesus”... instead of a conquering King...
LOL...

Oh.., and I should add that the number “1,000” — well..., Jesus never intended you to take Him seriously. I mean, He was just guessing how long it would take for y’all to make things “safe” for Him to come back.
But, 2,000 years..., come on, I can imagine that Jesus is getting mighty impatient with y’all — for taking so long to set things up for Him.
Not until you’ve got war ended, all the social ills taken care of and cured and not until you have made this a “Heaven on earth” is Jesus gonna even “think” about returning. I mean, He’s got it “good” right now up in Heaven, so why do you think He’s going to come back to a hell-hole?
Come on... get real! LOL...

When some folks display ignorance gone to seed,
it’s somehow comforting . . .
. . . though in a sad kind of way.

AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
However, some of the . . . respondents . . . on these issues . . .
appear to me
to be
the walking dead; the willfully blind; the terminally clueless; the Biblically ignoant; the historically ignornat;
. . .
. . .
. . .
and, too often for mere coincidence . . . also to be afflicted with a serious case of REACTIVE ATTACHMENT DISORDER.
Fascinating. Curious. Incredible.

To the best of your observation, would you say that the world is filled with nations who are deceived by Satan or nations which are not deceived by Satan?
INDEED.
That one issue scuttles their whole idiotic argument.
And that’s but one of dozens that each alone scuttle their whole perspective.
. . . not that the truth will phase them 0.0000000000000000001%!, OF COURSE.

You are way off here. None of us non-dispies believe that Christ's return has anything to do with anything we do. Your reply is a blatant misrepresentation of historic eschatology, silly, and pretty close to an insult born of ignorance.
"wussie Jesus,""safe" for His return...?! C'mon, that's just sad.
Perhaps you've missed all the past discussion where we've asserted that upon His return Christ will bring judgement to the world and destruction to the wicked.
No snatching away the believers at the Second Coming 7 years before His, what, third coming. Nope, just one Second Coming on the Day of the Lord bringing destruction to the wicked "like a thief in the night."
Oh.., and I should add that the number 1,000 well..., Jesus never intended you to take Him seriously. I mean, He was just guessing how long it would take for yall to make things safe for Him to come back.
I have no earthly clue where you get this from. But, fine, I'll play along:
I have almost no problem with historic premillennialism. I don't agree with the interpretation and I think that it misses alot on the Sovereignty of God, but, at least it keeps the chosen of God as one body under the reign of Christ. Thing is though, Chialism pretty much died off in the early church leaving two dominate eschatological systems - post-mil and -amil. These systems disagree on some of the finer points of the end times, but, all in all they are able to play well with each other. To this day they remain the dominate eschatological systems in all Christendom.
So, I ask, give me one example of a dispensational theologian in the historic Church between Augustine's time and say Jonathan Edwards' time. Just one between the 2nd century and 1830. Then tell me if this statement from your reply #191 applies to EVERY CHRISTIAN before the 1830s:
Really?! How can anyone call themselves a Christian and not believe that. I wouldnt be believing other kinds of doctrines of demons if I were other so-called Christians... :-)
Then tell me whether EVERY CHRISTIAN before 1830, all of whom followed these "doctrines of demons," are going to burn or not. Then explain why your baby doctrine is the only doctrine worthy of being followed by true Christians. Augustine, Jerome, Knox, Luther, Ireaneus, Calvin, Edwards, Sproul, Whitefield, Wesley, et al. called themselves Christians and didn't "believe that"... so they must have been "so-called Christians", eh?

It’s complete doctrine of demons when one teaches that God has no more prophetic purpose for the nation of Israel, now or in the Millennial Kingdom.
When one teaches that, the rest is garbage for the pigs, generated out of the pits of Hell.
You can send the garbage you’re teaching somewhere else. I don’t eat that kind of garbage.

That’s a dodge. What of the questions I posed? What of EVERY CHRISTIAN before the baby theology of dispensationalism?
