I have very few details for this post, other than the information provided by our FRiend GrannyK. We'll have more information as it may become available.
Longtime FReeper "Waco" was taken to the hospital this evening and we are requesting prayers for his recovery.
"Waco" is 70 years young and has been at it here at FRee Republic since the Clinton years, so you know that he has got some fight in him!
God bless our dear Friend and his family ~ please keep them in your prayers.
Please post your replies to Waco;
Please know that we are praying that the doctor's expertise can fix this situation. May God provide healing in due time.
Blessings,
[Salvation for] trussell
trussell's computer crashed -- that is why you are getting pings from me!
If you want on/off trussell's prayer ping list, please let Salvation know. All requests happily honored.
Thanks for the ping Salvation, and the status update incredulous joe ~ prayers that trussell’s and Waco’s technical issues get sorted out soon...May Waco be safely cradled in our Father’s arms while his doctors tinker with his ticker.
Prayers for Waco
Thank you so much! I did find out yesterday what he is being treated for: Ventricular Arrhythmia
He is resting comfortably as of last report.
Good news, I think. This morning I talked to a nurse at the hospital and she said she thinks the doctor will release “Waco” some time today if he continues to improve. So you all will probably be seeing him sign in sometime today. He is a dedicated FReeper. Thanks for all your support and wishes for his speedy recovery.
Thank you so very much for the update! Prayers continue...
Praying for complete & speedy recovery for your body.
Prayers lifted ..
Joining in prayer.
Got back about 3:30 EST, thanks for all the prayers. I got 6-7 jolts from my defilabrator, they reset pulse rate to 70- 72, it had been 60, potassium was low too. I was at hospital less than 48 hours. Boy, when that defil. kicks you, you surely know it.
It sounds like it was something of an ordeal.
Hope that all is well now and that you will be resting yourself between calming and meditative episodes of FReeping! ;0)
I held back on saying the other day that last week, paramedics came to check on our neighbor. He did not have a heart attack however they urged him then to on his own accord to go to the hospital the next day for some tests. He stayed two days and then went home so he seems to be largely okay. Which was a positive note when we heard it.
Still prayers up for all this Thanksgiving holiday and hoping all stay safe and sound.
Glad that your neighbor took that advice. I never listen to anyone when it comes to my health. Maybe I will when I get to be a little older.
Looks like Waco is doing very well.
