Prayer request for possible surgery

Hi Everybody!

I’m not in the habit of asking for prayers for myself, it’s usually for someone else. But I do need prayers now as I am facing a real tough year health-wise.

For years I was having problems with arthritis and with fused discs in my lower back and now in my neck. My doctor has recommended surgery but I’m putting that off and starting physical therapy to see if this will alleviate it some, but I’ll have to have something done soon.

I was planning on attending several of the Inauguration events, including the dinner this evening at the Washington Plaza and the Inauguration Parade in DC tomorrow as well as the W2 Freeper ball, but I find that now I have to save up not only enough money but also leave-time. I also have to take care of my physical health as well as my mental health to face surgery.

I think a late New Years resolution is in order for me!

No more saying what I’m going do or were I’m going to be until I do it or go there!

Please pray for me that I’ll not have to go on disability or take early retirement .

Prayers for you my sweet that you make the right choices in respect to your treatment. Take care of yourself keep us updated of your progress.

It is shame that you are going to miss the inaugural fun but your health must come first.

I am sorry that you have to save up holiday as well I am fortunate I can have 12 consecutive weeks off for sick and then a few more at half pay.
