I thought the interview was pretty interesting. Take it for what it's worth.

"Father Andrew Wingate returned to the show to share his latest messages of prophecy and to review some of his past predictions. His visions, he explained, often come to him during Mass. He sees an angelic face that moves closer and then views images of a "hypothetical situation" which "Heaven" confirms to him whether they are actual or not.

He foresees four major upcoming acts of terrorism, with two events to occur in the U.S. before the elections. One will take place in the southern U.S. and involve a national treasure, he stated. The other, he added, could be a "preventative event" that will transpire somewhere along the U.S. and Mexican border.

Wingate also discussed the plans of the Antichrist, whom he named as Maitreya. During his rise to power he will kill world leaders gathered at the United Nations by detonating a nuclear bomb that is built into the structure, he asserted. Reviewing his past prediction about Florida being destroyed by a nuclear device, he explained that this would only occur if a certain sequence of events played out, involving the invasion of the U.S. by "communists." He detailed that because Florida would be completely overtaken by this invading force, the U.S. would nuke the state as an of "self-preservation."

10 months after this invasion a "Great Miracle" will take place where "pillars of fire" will be seen at multiple locations around the world, and anyone who comes into contact with these pillars (in particular a large one in Spain) will be cured of any ailment or disease, said Wingate."

One would be wise to take anything said by a self annointed priest concerning the future with a pinch of salt, especially when they're trying to sell something . Usually George Noory (a serious Bush hater) knocks these types off the show in about 5 minutes, but he allowed this guy to go on, hence I shut off the radio.

OK, I'm not usually the tin foil hat type (despite the picture I googled up, above), but get out your Reynolds Wrap.

I'm convinced that the debacle in the Kerry Campaign is all part of the Clinton plan.  We've often had folks floating the idea, here and elsewhere, that the Clintonoids want to sabotage the Kerry campaign to pave the way for Hillary in 2008.  I think that's clearly possible, but I think that's only part of the plan.  The other part is to maneuver Bill into a position to rescue the world, through the United Nations, as the replacement for Kofi Annan.  Bill as the (no term limit) head of the world government, Hillary as the head of the US government, with the power of Executive Orders to cede sovereignty "in the name of peace and the children" to her hubby.

I give this (admittedly out there) scenario a 40% possibility of actually being true. That's how paranoid those two, and the events going on in the world right now, make me.

One item to call attention to - the messenger in question is NOT a representative of the official "Catholic" Church. These messages which claim to be "prophetic" have not been approved or authorized by the Catholic Church. He is described as follows:

Andrew Wingate is the founder of the "Oblates of St. Therese" which is part of the North American Old Roman Catholic Church (Utrecht Succession.)

That would seem to indicate that some level of caution is in order with any of the prophetic claims. There are a lot of alleged apocalyptic end-times type messages floating around in religious circles. Not all of them are authentic or valid.

As with certain other cases, people claiming to be offering a "Catholic" point of view on something are not always what they may seem or appear to be. This one looks a little suspicious and unstable perhaps.

Using my canister of salt through most of this thread but that Clinton-Nero comparison is jaw dropping. Bill in Kofi's seat would explain the US invasion by the UN troops many visionaries have seen. There has been too much convergence in vision for this and for that massive mid-continental quake several of the more respected seers have seen. Heebi jeebi time?

Before Lewinsky-gate, I could have bought off on the thought that Clinton was the AntiChrist. But there are a number of things that don't fly with that scenario now.

The Bible is pretty clear that the AntiChrist must rise from the area of Old Europe and he will at first be a pretty unknown figure. He'll be winsome and attractive and charming. All pre-MONICA Clinton attributes, except of course his location. Arkansas doesn't qualify as Old Europe. Also, now, Bill is a joke, he's a laughingstock. And he's stupid. He's so obviously manipulative, whereas the true AntiChrist will manipulate without it ever being suspected. I don't doubt that Clinton (both of them) may well figure in the AntiChrist's Administration, but I think it's somebody else. And that person has been alive and walking the Earth for quite awhile. Maybe since May14th 1948. But he's getting ready to make his move.

I also don't believe that the UN is going to be the vehicle used by the AntiChrist. It will be whatever replaces that crumbling tomb of corruption. Perhaps it will be known as The Global Community?
