The Neverending Story
An ongoing debate on Scripture, Tradition, History and Interpretation.

Statesmen may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue. - John Adams

It's pretty funny that you harangue RnMom for posting Scripture and her "attitude," but you feel free to post remarks like yours that are rude, crude and unworthy of Free Republic. I'd like to ping the Moderator, but I've been told you guys police yourselves. Guess not.

Some of y'all sure like to dish it out. But you sure don't like to take it.

Yada yada yada.

Astute. Why didn't I think of that?

Probably because I hold the Old Testament in higher esteem than you hold the New Testament.

I find that exceedingly unlikely.

Yep, I closed 15 days ago. Got my computer set up. What more do I need? ;o)

Lots of little things to do. But nothing that urgently has to be done.

John 5
46 If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. 47 But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?”

Yes, and a desk. ;o)

I've got a fair amount of decorating yet to do. The walls are still bare. I have some things on order, but haven't gotten them in yet.

Well, I have a housekeeper now. We gave up the cleaners and eating out more than once a week to budget her but life is much better :') If I could find a way to pay for it I would hire a "honey do" man too.

If He did that I bet the foolishness of the endless debates about who's saved when, where, what, how & why would melt away. Let God be God.

There shall be no strange god among you;
you shall not bow down to a foreign god. (Psalm 81:9)

Well, I have a housekeeper now.

I don't have any animals here, so the house stays clean once I clean it! Definitely less upkeep.
