I am asking everyone to pray for my sister-in-law's father and his entire family. His name is Bob Ziegler, and he has just been diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer.

Bob is to undergo more tests this week to see the extent of the cancer. I ask that prayers go up, that the tests show the cancer hasn't spread, and that the doctors are able to treat it effectively. I would also ask that you pray for his family to have the strength to get through this difficult time.

Barb is more like a sister to me than a sister-in-law, and I will be with her when she needs me, but I will post updates as much as I can.

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for the love of family that You have given .. manifest that love in ways that will sustain Bob and his family through the coming days. May these upcoming tests show that the cancer is contained and that it can be treated and cured. Give wisdom to all those who tend him .. surround him with those who bring comfort and encouragement .. work in him in such a way that all will know that You are in their midst.

My dad had the same cancer. There's a proceedure now that is very successful. His cancer has been in remission for over 4 years now.

There is so much power in prayer! You are doing the right think! The bible is clear in stating, "You have not because you ask not" Jesus Christ is our great physician, our healer, our redemmer, our lord and savior, Praise God. I pray in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Lord we come in agreement for a man that has a cancer in the pancress of his body. Lord we know this cancer comes from satan the evil one!
