I would like to ask for prayer for Jacquelyn. She's 7 yrs old and was diagnosed with luekemia in late June. The prognosis isn't that great, the doctors give her no more than a 50/50 chance to survive. She has been taking chemotherapy treatments every other week and has been a trooper and so brave.
She is supposed to be having another treatment this week but she can't because she is too sick. She has a blood fungus and some kind of infection and she's in extreme pain. They have her on morphine. I'm just so concerned about her. She's such a beautiful little girl, so full of life and personality and I know she's in God's hands but we all love her so much we want her here with us.
My daughter-in-law said that she teared up in front of her the other and Jacquelyn hugged her and told her don't worry I'll be okay. Saturday, they let my grandchildren see her and they read her a book but she's been too sick most of the time to have any visitors except her parents.
I ask everyone I see to pray for her and I know how faithful so many of you are and I'd like you to add your prayers.
I wish I had a picture of her, you'd all fall in love with her immediately.
My tears flow down as my prayers flow up. Praying for a FULL and complete healing for this precious child.
Please send your healing and tender mercies upon this child. Give her family peace and strength while they walk through this with her. May this only be a temporary setback, we pray for a good report.
I ask this in Jesus' precious name, AMEN.

Dear Lord, please protect and heal little Jacquelyn. Bring her strength and comfort, and peace to her mother.
My son is a cancer patient and often visits with the children when he goes in for treatment. He says their courage is amazing. He's known several who have beaten the illness and gotten to go home and also to school. Please, Lord, let this little child recover, and please help her family to have the courage and faith they need.
It has been like a roller coaster since I last asked for prayer. I don’t know exactly how they did it but they used her own stem cells that they finally managed to harvest when she was in remission that short amount of time after the transplant. They did the procedure hoping it would help her get healthy so they could do another bone marrow transplant. I don't know and I don't think the doctors do either, if this could be a permanent cure but it is a beginning.
The procedure was done last Friday and she was already feeling better on Saturday and Sunday. One test showed her cancer-free yesterday but they were waiting on the results of another before they could be sure.
The weekend before the transplant they let her come home and she was so depressed and in so much pain. She told my grandson that she was so tired of being sick and we were all afraid that she was giving up. She just wanted to sleep as much as possible and didn’t even try to play. My grandchildren laid down with her for a while and came home very sad, I think they were even afraid. And now, except for the stomach problems she has because of all the medicine, she isn’t hurting.
I do pray for her and her family almost every day and prayers will continue.
