Just to make sure we are clear, racially insensitive (even if no racism is intended) should require sanctions against all or none.... I look for consistency and truly dislike double standards....

On this point, it has to be stated that conservatives and liberals are intolerant of dissent but it is true that liberals are given more latitude... Unfair but true.... I think Jesse Jackson, Robert Byrd, Cruz Bustamante, and several others need to learn to practice what they preach...

However, I don't think that it is a defense when a conservative makes such remarks that it is OK because some liberal did it also... Someone told me that two wrongs do not make a right....

The problem is that many football fans don't think McNabb was getting preferential treatment by the media due to his race. So, bringing race into a discussion on McNabb without convincing evidence was a huge mistake.

I have. Rush criticized McNabb because he didn't think he was doing a good job as QB. He went after the media because he thought they were giving McNabb a pass because of his race. So I guess the real racists are the media.
