How did the people here feel when the Dixie Chicks got beat down and Peter Arnett lost his job?

What they said and did was substantial. The issue with Rush is much to do about nothing.

I think what they did was express an unpopular opinion and abused the position that they had as entertainers. They brought politics when they should have been singing.

Rush made the same mistake... He should have been talking about sports... Politics and race should have been left in the parking lot...

As a conservative, I am more offended by what the Dixie Chicks did because I thought their timing was bad and I thought they did a lot of hit and run but they like Rush, prefer to voice their opinion when they control the mike...
