I'm sure he'll have plenty to say tomorrow.Apparently, in an odd coincidence, Limbaugh has another engagement scheduled for tomorow and will not be behind the "golden EIB mic".

I didn't see him make the comment the first time. When I saw the replay of the footage I had a hard time beleiving it was really him saying what he did. Such a strange thing to say -- and a rude accusation to boot.

"Hit 'em in the pocketbook. Stop watching and let their ratings, and the profits, slide."ESPN don't care about no boycott, and they won't even see their ratings for another three months anyhow.
Ya gotta go further, and either stop buying or threaten to stop buying the products that advertise on ESPN during the show Rush was on.
Tis the only way, my friend.
I work in the media, the newspaper business specifically, and the more complaints and bitchin we get, the more we like it, cause we know people are reading us.

Whatever. I'll keep baseball, but I'm not about to watch cars go around and around in circles all day. You and me both. I wish I understood NASCAR. I'm glad it has such a conservative fan base, though. And I, too, like baseball.

Done. I made sure that I let ESPN know that I hadn't really watched Countdown in three years, and that now that Limbaugh's gone....I guess I'll go back to watching FOX. That pretty much ought to do it.

Hell, I don't even WATCH sports.

How did the people here feel when the Dixie Chicks got beat down and Peter Arnett lost his job?"The people"? Well, "the people" at FR probably won't have 90% of agreement on anything, if that's what you mean.

This isn't over yet. The drug report is a Red Herring. It was reported a few months after his hearing loss was reported, just got addected to prescribed pain killers and that was taken care of by slowly reducing his medication. Someone may have paid a former housemaid to exagerate the story. Rush may even take legal action. It will be intresting to watch.

OH F!!! The BASTARD RATS WON AGAIN!! I HATE THEM!!!!NO, commonsense won this time. Rush bringing up the FORCED race based interviewing process for head coaching positions in the NFL, great. Claiming that the MAIN reason(since rush claims McNabb isn't even an average QB) McNabb is so popular is because he is black, no way. McNabb had better numbers(TDs, INTs, yards, total TDs - all except completion %) than Aikman when Aikman won those three superbowls. McNabb has below average players around him, while aikman had Irvin, Novacek, emmitt. I guess when Aikman gets inducted into the Hall of fame, he'll apologize and tell rush he is sorry because he was such a bad QB.
Rush is full of shit. I remember quite well all of Randall Cunningham's career. He was blasted for no reason simply because he WAS a black QB. The media still gives Vick and McNabb back handed complements by calling them great atheletes and not QBs. If Rush was sooooo football knowledgeable as you ditto heads claim, then he would know that Andy reid(the WHITE coach) had only called 21 run plays in the first two losses by the Eagles. But why let a little football sneak into a little race baiting by Rush. What an idiot.

I actually think Rush resigned OUT OF RESPECT for McNabb.
If I was this quarterback, I would be mortified. The NAACP or Media (which ever is behind it) is actually inadvertantly confirming what Rush said.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear that he's been disinvited from that too.
