Hey guys, it didn't have to be 3 Latinos, it could have been a white boy and two brothers, or a brother, a babe and a latino. ;-)ROTFLMAO;-)
Hats off and a standing ovation for the Young Conservatives of Texas! (Outstanding job.)

I wonder if those that were "offended" feel the same type of offense when offered the benefits of affirmative action...

The bake sale was merely trying to feed that diverse community in a politically correct affirmitive action respecting way.
If Matt understood the capitalist system, he would have bought all the cookies for a quarter apiece and sold them for a dollar each and cried all the way to the bank. What an opportunity lost....just for the sake of whining.
There is just no understanding some some people.

I talk show host says that now, when asked to check a "race" box, he checks off "Native American".
To: Poseidon
"Matt Houston, a 19-year-old sophomore, called the group's price list offensive."He no doubt feels (since he's demonstrated he's incapable of thinking) that he should have gotten his cookies free.

I think they should do this on sales tax. If it's a rich person buying a blouse, they should pay MORE in sales tax! It would demostrate why a FLAT Tax is fair.

Did you see this one?

So you're thinking that the director of the Student Center (a glorified cafeteria manager) is a member of 'the Liberal Intelligencia'? Let's see...arrogant...self important...ready to determine what others can say and do...Yep! Clearly a card-carrying Liberal!

SMU officials said they halted the event after 45 minutes because it created a potentially unsafe situation. You've got to love this! So, on the flip side, if the Insert Minority Group Here Student Union had a booth somewhere and the KKK showed up to argue with them the university would shut down the booth because of a potentially unsafe situation?!?! Yeah... right... they'd call in the State Troopers to break some heads and protect the booth. University liberals...

A sign said white males had to pay $1 for a cookie. The price was 75 cents for white women, 50 cents for Hispanics and 25 cents for blacks. What about Asians? My guess would be same rate as whites.

or demanded them for a nickle or they would have Jessie Jackson expose the campus as a hotbed of racial intolerance?

``They were arguing that affirmative action was solely based on race. It's not based on race. It's based on bringing a diverse community to a certain organization.'' Good example of double-think here. I wonder if this college student could correctly define 'criterion.'

"They were arguing that affirmative action was solely based on race. It's not based on race. It's based on bringing a diverse community to a certain organization." Excuse my language, but BullHockey! Houston doesn't need to be in college, maybe he should go back to grade school and learn to read!

-"A black student filed a complaint with SMU, saying the sale was offensive." EXACTLY!!!
That's what's wrong with Affirmitive Action, it is OFFENSIVE, to ALL RACES, most especially to WHITES!!!

I like how you think!
To: Poseidon
"My reaction was disgust because of the ignorance of some SMU students," said Houston, who is black. "They were arguing that affirmative action was solely based on race. It's not based on race. It's based on bringing a diverse community to a certain organization."And 'diversity' is a code word for 'Race', dumbass...
