"Is it erroneous?
Check your own six.
Rnold is not Reagan.
Ya'll have completely lost your minds out there."
As a conservative, I sincerely appreciate your kind words, your generous and sweeping assessment of every conservative and Republican in the state, and your overall empathetic understanding of what it is like to be a conservative living in a state currently run by the far, far left.

((My first vote was cast for Ronald Reagan))
To: Smogger
Then he ran from the reporter's questions outside in the "spin room." and was roundly criticized for it on every channel I watched. Reporters are dying to ask him about his campaign finance trickery. Yep. That's Cruz's style. I suspect he was frantically looking for the head so he could go throw up.

With republicans voting as you did, Ronald Reagan would never had been able to save this nation. It is only those that had the forsight to be willing to consign the nation to a hell of four years were able to save the nation for the future. How is that different from Dems hoping American troops get killed in droves in Iraq in order to make Bush weaker politically?

We vote differently in the primaries, if you hadn't noticed (Simon). This isn't a primary.

Excuse me .. Tom already has a job in Sacramento - he's a State Senator! I know that. I just wondered if Arnold's statement - "Tom and I will be a good team in Sacramento" - might possibly have indicated some type of 11th hour deal in the works...?

Thanks for the response.... That's my point in some ways..... Only two should have had the complete or at least the most knowledge of the CA government and it's interal workings because only two were long time politicos......
Thanks.....

If Neville Chamberlain hadn't surrendered to Hitler at Munich, Churchill would never have become Prime Minister.
And if the Brits hadn't voted for 34 years of socialism after the war, they would never have had Maggie to clean up the mess.
To: Smogger
I said *could* not *is*. Thank you.

(Please Californians. Vote McClintock! PS, I don't live there.)
To: Afronaut
Didn't know that. Sounds like democrats. I'm concerned about all of the fraud that will happen in this election.
To: Scott from the Left Coast
It was dangerous ploy, playing right into the wheelhouse of the most powerful RAT constituency. Do you really think that Arnold is at risk of losing union votes with this position? The unions are going to camaigh hard against him, to be sure. But the unions can never know how there members will actually vote. But can the membership who might vote for arnold be that significant? And could such a subtle message make rain? I doubt it.

I have many problems with my "Skills" and this evening. LOL!

(Vote for me now. I’ll let you know what I believe later)
To: TomasUSMC
that the rich in California pay a lower tax rate than the rest. Do you really believe that is true? That is the usual rhetoric from the left. He eluded to the fact that illegals pay more in taxes didn't he? Or was that Cruz? One of them said that. No way!
I am astonished that you thought the green party guy came in second actually. But of course, you are entitled to your opinion, and anyone with USMC after their name is allowed to say anything IMO! You have my respect and my thanks for your service.

Poor Busty. He has to go home and ask himself where it all went terribly, terribly wrong.

By your logic, we should be grateful for 8 years of Clinton because we now have Dubya to clean up the trash he left in the White House. I voted for Harry Browne in 1996. There is no way I would have voted for Bob Dole. I expected the Republicans in Congress to keep Clinton in check; I was rather disappointed when they instead insisted on shooting themselves in the foot. Still, the Republicans seem to have learned from their mistake of 1996 (supporting a totally lackluster candidate) and actually put forth someone pretty good.
BTW, what would have happened to Republicans in Congress in 1996 if, when Clinton put forth his litany of accomplishments, the Republicans very politely reminded voters that nearly all of Clinton's accomplishments were the product of a Republican congress? It would seem that Republican congressional candidates could have run a very positive message in 1996, possibly even getting a veto-proof majority, if they weren't so busy trying to bash Clinton and prop up their useless leader.
