MCCLINTOCK WINS DEBATE, CAMPAIGN RE-IGNITED!Can I have some of what you're drinking?
To: ArneFufkin
I work in the business arena, and you see many of these charisma/detail combos. And I have to admit (as a McClintock supporter) generally the detail guy is working for the charisma guy.

I no longer live in California, but spent enough years there to HAVE to watch this. In short..............McClintock was unbelievable. If California doesn't elect this man to higher office..........Governor, Senator, whatever...............then the State is truly populated with idiots.

Yes, I'm fluent in Spanish, and have spent about a year in Latin America, in Mexico and Colombia. Not sure what that has to do with anything. Your Spanish grammar is incorrect, by the way. Should be "hablas"....

Too bad. The reasonable solutions are:
Buy broadband and get into the 21st century.
Turn off images in your web browser.

I did not mean my comment to you to spark negative repsonses from others. I understand what you were referencing. Take care.
To: eleni121
You're probably correct. The audience tried to turn this into a Cruz and Arianna love-fest with their vocal support, but in the end, I think Arnold and Tom made the most sense, while Arianna looked like a total witch and Cruz looked smarmy and dishonest. It worried me a little that Arianna supported Tom on some stuff; it's such a yucky feeling when it comes from her.

Bustamonte is SO condescending. He thinks he is far better than all of them.

Hey, I'm one of those Freepers who's for Arnold after watching the debate! I want someone up there who's not part of the system, and he said what I would say about California's fiscal problems. I find it significant that McClintock didn't sling mud at Arnold as some predicted - could he be planning on dropping out of the race soon, as some predicted, and throwing his support to Arnold?
To: DoughtyOne
"Governor of the US"
That's way too nationalistic ...
Camejo is running for UN Commisar of Californica.
Did you notice he mentioned the UN??
he is like those Santa Cruz loonies who want their own anti-Bush Foreign Policy.

I still wonder why they picked Arianna to represent all California Independents. Money is my only guess.

21 Units? Average? 30? OMG ... 12 Units is considered full time. 30 Units would mean 10 classes, maybe more. 16 Units is considered an oppressive schedule by most modern students.
That said, there are other tuition increases that are much larger, the per unit cost is a small part of the cost of college education.

He thinks he is far better than all of them. That's part of being a Democrat.

If you believe in interent activism and its impact, then there is a good opportunity here. Unfortuneately, there is no consensus for TMac on FR.

(Please Californians. Vote McClintock!)
To: sarasmom
We Californians understand that if we lose this election, it will be a lot worse than if Arnold were to win and MAYBE get something done. We cannot take another 4-6 years of Democrats. There is really no choice. McClintock, qualified as he is, is NOT going to win. Therefore, Arnold is our best hope. This is not an abandonment of our principles, this is a pragmatic realization of what is actually happening out here. We blew it once by supporting Simon, when he had no chance. If Arnold does nothing but prevent things from getting worse, it is the best possible choice for us, because McClintock WILL NOT WIN. I like the man, but this is California, and HE WONT WIN. Arnold is the only way that we can prevent the Democrats from making things worse, and therefore, even as a McClintock supporter, I will be voting for Arnold.

Seems to be that Arnold was the only one to take advantage at least so far to going before reporters. Guess we have to wait to see if more take advantage but Arnold was first!
