"...I am confused. I thought you had to be a citizen to vote. Illegal aliens are not citizens, so how can they vote?"

You take your driver's license to the polling place on election day, tell the election worker that you live at the address shown on the card, and the nice lady hands you a 'provisional ballot'. It's counted as a vote and no-one checks to see if the voter is legitimate or not unless someone contests the results of the election. By that time, they 'lose' the provisonal ballots somehow so that the veracity of the voter's eligibility cannot be checked.

Driver's licenses for illegal aliens is legalized voter fraud. They can even register to vote at the DMV now when they go to get their new licenses. They place a 'Taxpayer's ID Number' in the box labeled 'Social Security Number', and away they go.

Anyone can get a 'Taxpayer's ID Number' under an assumed name. All the state cares about is another individual sending revenue to Sacramento.

If anyone sees that I am mistaken here, please correct me.

THey use their California drivers liscences to claim they can vote in order to get registered. State and local authorities are barred from enforcing immigration laws that would stop this. This was ordered by the state and local authorities. If President Bush truly sttod for America, he would use his bully pulpit to force the elimination of all federeal dollar transfered to any state or municipality that didn't enforce immigration laws. If you want illegal children attending public school, attending at in-state tuition rates or getting drivers liscences, then no federal dollars for education, roads, or anything else. Even include the multimillion dollar research grants to universities. Cut off all federal funding and watch how fast the states realign their priorities. It wouldn't be politically popular, but it woud be effective. Follow the money.

WARNING President Bush's home state of Texas, along with the rest of the country is being completely over run with hundreds of thousands of illlegal aliens.

The fraud and crime created by these criminals is epic.

As all these millions are choking off our system, we have no idea who these people are, where they come from or what the hell they are even doing here. The chaos created by this crisis is titanic.

All this while President Bush, and the Home Land Security Boss stand winking and nodding at this brutal destruction of our country.

I don't know how President Bush or Tom Ridge can even look the public in the eye, when we have millions of people entering our country illegally, on a routine basis, at will.

I said years ago that this invasion would grow and escalate to become the most dangerous, threatening issue facing America, and it's now a brutal reality. As our so-called leaders continue to stand by, encouraging, pandering and supporting this attack on our country and our sovereignty.

This is real, and we will lose this country if something is not done fast. Our so-called leaders, from DC to the local level must be removed and replaced with people that are not accomplices to this epic nationwide lawlessness.

I always thought that you had to be a citizen of the USA to vote and not just have a drivers license.

Silly me, what was I thinking?

they just check the box (Motor Voter law)...the criminal background check was removed from this version of law that the California Senate signed...hence it becomes a legal phony ID

KFI Host Bill Handel announced this news today!

Well, Bill himself should show up and do some disrupting...remember, he occasionally refers to himself as "A Latino Jew"...

Gray Davis seems very confident that
his new spanish-speaking public supports
this plot to give illegals drivers licenses AND the
right to vote, and he has no problem ignoring the rest
of California.>>>>>>>>>>

Hey, even here in "small town, TX" we had news coverage last night showing some CA hispanics saying Davis had to go, Cruz was a crook, and those CA hispanics were backing McClintock.

Think Davis didn't hear the news that South Gate, CA (95% hispanic) booted all their CORUPT elected officials (also hispanic)???

I attended Southwestern College in the summer of 1973. It is a junior college that is heavily supported by taxpayer funds. Mecha controlled a very large office complex in the physical education building, more offices by the admin offices and major league space in the student union building. The Mexicans on campus were very arrogant. They had a very significant budget as well. The pet name for the place was "Tijuana Tech".

Straight from the enemy camp (La Opinion newspaper), here is what is going down, homeboys (sorry for the Espanol; need a Bablefish translation here of the enemy's report):

Maybe Davis and Bustamante really are brothers under the skin!

Not so much just MEChA-think, but classic DemocRAT-think: Will do anything to cling to power -- even turning over the country to someone who will destroy it, rather than see their enemy (us) prevail. Davis knows that if this were taken to its natural "MEChA" end, there would be no more California -- he doesn't care, to him that is better than seeing his "enemy" prevail over him.

Classic Clinton mentality...and, gee, who's been advising him and pulling his strings anyway. Clinton RATS: "What we can't own, we will destroy."

don't know what it's going to take, but I have had enough.

If this continues, and Davis stays in office, or Bustamante is elected, there will be a slow steady exodus of the ones who pay the freight!! The rat legislature just passed another business killer yesterday. A law forcing small businesses to provide health insurance to all employees.(making it mandatory) The rats are cutting off their nose to spite their face, and their sheeple are eating it up. You are right it cannot continue, and I for another, have also had enough!!

Sadly, you're probably right...

Once California totally collapses, the failure of liberalism will be complete.

Yes. The Left is willing to destroy California in order to save it.
