"...I am confused. I thought you had to be a citizen to vote. Illegal aliens are not citizens, so how can they vote?"

You take your driver's license to the polling place on election day, tell the election worker that you live at the address shown on the card, and the nice lady hands you a 'provisional ballot'. It's counted as a vote and no-one checks to see if the voter is legitimate or not unless someone contests the results of the election. By that time, they 'lose' the provisonal ballots somehow so that the veracity of the voter's eligibility cannot be checked.

Driver's licenses for illegal aliens is legalized voter fraud. They can even register to vote at the DMV now when they go to get their new licenses. They place a 'Taxpayer's ID Number' in the box labeled 'Social Security Number', and away they go.

Anyone can get a 'Taxpayer's ID Number' under an assumed name. All the state cares about is another individual sending revenue to Sacramento.

If anyone sees that I am mistaken here, please correct me.

Where I live in the Inland Empire...they don't even bother to check ID. Ya just point to your name and say that's me, sign the book and they hand you a ballot. It is very lax.

I believe that somehow it has become bad policy to ask for ID at a polling place (it may be a form of discrimination.)

All I've shown for years is my ballot booklet and very rarely an I.D. card. But, now, everyone will have the ID card if requested to show one!

Just think. Once they've registered to vote at the DMV, many illegal immigrants, and people with fake identiites who want to vote multiple times, will be mailed ballot booklets of their own.

The beats goes on...
