Earlier I posted an article titled Bye, Bye Beringia (8,000 Year Old Site In Florida.
I just turned on The Learning Channel and caught about ten minutes of the ending of a program titled, 'Secrets Of The Bog People: Windover', it is about this 'Windover' site in Florida. A doctor Gregory from Cornell said that preliminary DNA samples taken from the brains of some of the people indicate they are European. They also showed a reconstructed face of one of the skulls.
I checked my TLC schedule and it indicates that another showing will be at 11:00PM CST tonight.
This is revolutionary...American prehistory is about to be re-written, IMO. I encourage all to watch the program

Caucasion tribes could have crossed into the Americas from the ice bridge as well as Mongoloid tribes. No need to invent voyages from Europe to get them to the Americas. Though I am sure rare voyages did take place but not enough to change the genetic character of the native peoples.

There are pottery finds in Japan/Korea which show social maturity ..various earthenware...in the 10,000 bp Window.
and they are **firing the earthenwhere before 6000.
Advancement in culture is probably divergent ...some areas having social groups with limited skill application...
while elsewhere...others are advancing in quicker incriments.
Catastrophism could have knocked mankind back several times...and why we find these garments and pottery idents which do not fit..but RCY/BP as ..and are sure wrenches into the machinery.
one could hypothesis that there just might be one or a few places on Earth where mankind flourished..and stayed seperate from the 30,000-12,000 paleo crowd.
what could be their level of advancement if they where not cut back for several thousand years.
We have the academic data for migrations..the 5MTDNA links..dental...lingustic.
but so to a rich mythology of *Teacher/helpers....visitors from where?
on the mythology thingy..we have 2 tracks..
Erik Von Daniken..the Hebrew account....*OFF World contact.
or the concept of an advanced social net of mankind..sent into migration via catastrophism..they are the teacher/god helpers of old..and established societies from Paleo roots.

Maybe we should shove Hillary's face in that bog.
pull it out in 8,000 years still as scary as ever.

"one could hypothesis that there just might be one or a few places on Earth where mankind flourished..and stayed seperate from the 30,000-12,000 paleo crowd." The tree-rings indicate that there have been at least 5 severe ( and two less severe ) worldwide catastrophic events in the last 10k years. The whole world was affected terribly. (equalizing events?)

It is interesting that the original article calls the people "Indian" and claims that they probably had copper colored skin. This article claims the opposite.

"or the concept of an advanced social net of mankind..sent into migration via catastrophism..they are the teacher/god helpers of old..and established societies from Paleo roots." That's pretty much my view.

They're finding seven thousand plus year-old brain tissue? Isn't that about average for the Palm Beach retirement condos?

Yup. They found 169 people and 90 had their brains still intact. Read the article I linked at the beginning of this one. That leaves only 79 eligible to vote for Kerry.

I didn't phrase it correctly, I meant the earlier article that you posted regarding the Windover site, the one that was linked.

"I meant the earlier article that you posted regarding the Windover site, the one that was linked." Okay. It's been so long I had forgotten.
"They were lean and robust, most likely a copper-skinned people. The tallest man stood 5 feet and 6 inches tall. The average woman was 5 feet and 2 inches."
There's no way he can know that.
