Hillary implies Bush responsible for power outage
CNN Larry King Live | 08/14/2003 | Cousin Eddie

Posted on 08/14/2003 6:38:58 PM PDT by Cousin Eddie

King is interviewing that expert in electricity managemnet, Gray Davis, and Hillary Clinton (by phone). She basically said that this country needs to put a priority on upgrading the power distribution backbone and the Bush administration had un-done all of the good work that had gone on in the Clinton administration under Bill Richardson. Unbelievable...blaming Bush for this crisis. She has no shame.

As a senator from the state that all of this originatd from, Hillary should be held solely responsible for this outage.

Yes --- the power out seems to have mostly been in her state ---the one she represents ---and in her friend's ---the governor of Michigan. We have plenty of electricity in other parts of the country. The country is fine, it seems it's the liberal areas having problems.

This is a full scale assault, I just heard the end of her live on MSNBC. (Didn't really catch more than her saying something about the free market can do lots of things BUT can't guarantee...our founding fathers...checks and ballances...) She was running that vile trap at top speed, all those things spewed out in like 20 seconds!

I listened in disbelief to her tirade on MSNBC also. Like you, I just caught the end of it. She kept injecting the word ENRON in as often as she could... she sounded like a raving lunatic!

American people shouldn't tolerate this... the Federal Gov't has to do something

That is a barf. Power outages go on everywhere ---- rural people are fairly used to them and they can last all night and sometimes days. It's really no different for anyone --- I'm actually surprised the huge cities have had so few.

1) I thought Bush was an oil man who cared about nothing but advancing the interests of the energy business.

2) Is she actually claiming that x42 was in favor of something with a smokestack that improved peoples standard of living???

I beg to differ.

The closest she gets to rising to the lofty level of a piece of horse manure

is that she's made of the feces of the microbes crawling amongst the slug sh*t in the lowest sewer in hell.

In other words, I think . . . "a piece of ***t" is too lofty a label for the her evil treasoness.

At least manure can be used to benefit in a garden.

She's like acid--destroying all she touches.

Ummmm, that's really strange since it's the LEFTISTS who are so dead-set against power station expansions!!

Hillary implies Bush responsible for power outage

Hillary should talk. While x42 was president there were three power outages that Clinton did nothing about. So my opinion is that Clinton caused this outage because he didn't fix it right.

-Oct. 23, 1997, about 250,000 people in a five-mile stretch of downtown San Francisco lost power for 90 minutes or more. FBI investigators later determined someone intentionally cut the power.

-On Dec. 8, 1998, a construction crew's mistake caused a blackout across a 49-square mile area of the San Francisco Peninsula. The power went out for about 940,000 people and was restored seven hours later.

-On July 6, 1999, three days of record-breaking heat arched power lines in New York City, causing a 19-hour blackout.

I heard her on CNN (toggled over to see what they were reporting) it was alittle after 6 PM ET---all I heard was; "Me--me--MY---me--me---see to it---me---me---that this will never happen again" I HAD to turn it off.

Obviously, the Clinton war room is at work.

Not only did they have Mrs Clinton blaming Bush, but they had Gray Davis opining how it was done in Califonia and they had Governor Richardson whining that Republicans stopped the Clintons' energy plan.

This on top of Gore telling us how he would have done better against terror. ...and Madame Halfbright telling us that Gore would have done better after 911 and Gore would have been smarter in Iraq.

The Clinton campaign for President is in full gear.

"Ah, she's just in a snit because her vibrator was recharging when the blackout hit." Hey, that puppy is powered by a 5HP Briggs-Stratton with push button start!

Hell no not Briggs and Stratton, it would take something from Pratt and Whitney to power that bad boy.
