LOGAN UPDATE!! I just had a note from Nana!
Logan passed his eye exam today!
The doctor said his eyes are 90% improved!
This has been a big concern since preemies, and, especially, micropreemies, have a tendency to have problems with their eyes.
The blessings just keep pouring in!
Thank you, God!
Thank you, FReepers!
Thank you, Caregivers!
AND NOW FOR THE POOP REPORT!
Little Logan has been having problems going potty.....not Number One, but Number Two.
The doctor took some x-rays yesterday, and the results came back this morning that there were no obstructions in his bowels.
THANK YOU, GOD!
The doctor put him on one ounce of prune juice twice a day which Beth says he likes as much as his apple juice.
Wellll...........about one o'clock this morning our Little Termite presented his mommy with a present which necessitated a bath for him, his bed and all the instrument probes!
I mean this boy does everything BIG !!
Well, heck, he's typical Texan!!
AND HERE'S LITTLE BABY BLUE EYES!!
YOU GO, TERMITE!!!!
Could y'all ping everyone, please?
Thanks!!!!!!!

See Logan.. I knew all along you were going to be a "normal" little boy. Of course you are more than normal, you are extraordinary! My baby #2 would not poop for days on end until he was one. Now, I am glad to report he poops two to three times a day. I knew you all would be interested in that !
You are a miracle to me Logan. I am so happy for you and your family, and esp. your Mom and Dad. I wonder if you will ever really understand how much joy you must bring to them!
Pretty soon I will hear tales of you crunching in the leaves, and playing with, mud pies and cathcing those butterflies. I hope you remember the story I told you about flying your kite.... I know that day is comming soon too!
Be well little one.

It is great seeing such progress. His color is beautiful and he looks so bright eyed! He'll be running around getting into everything before you know it and when his mother is tired and a little cross, she'll remember what a miracle he is and it will bring a smile back to her face.

Tell Beth (from an old mom here) that apple and banana make things er.... ahhhh.... firm.
Prunes make things soft.
That's printed in the Mommy Bible. Honest! ;-)
YOU GO, LIL TERMITE! KEEP 'EM GUESSING!!

I remember the prune juice days! My daughter got a half ounce every day mixed with water. Always worked like a bomb...I mean charm.
I'm so happy about Logan's eye exam. The little toot is coming along fine.
Thanks for the new picture. I get so that if I don't see a picture within a few days, I get worried. This is just what I needed to start my weekend.

A little piece of completly USELESS INFORMATION I pass on.
Incredibly astounding fact # 629,863,992...
Aztec emperor Montezuma had a nephew, Cuitlahac, whose name meant "plenty of excrement."

If constipation is his biggest hurdle now a days I would say the boy is doing fantastic.
That apple juice can work both ways.
I thought about that when it was reported that Logan slurped it down.
Also if tape burns are still a problem we use Saf-Gel for all skin problems. It is available from home health (not in stores) and is spendy but a littl goes along way. If King Vanities stoma sites get a little irratated or a tape burn a dab of this stuff (looks like KY Jelly) and withen a day it is healed over.
Praise God his eye exam was all good.
Logan I love that red/blonde hair you have. You go and keep thriving. Your home buddy.
For all Logan's careproviders remember to pace yourselves it is easy to give up ones needs to care for your baby.

Thank God for Logan's improving eyes. I've been praying that they'll have perfect vision. As for the prune juice phenomena, way to GO, Logan!
