Prayer Request for A Tiny Baby (Update in post #12850)

If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. He’s the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.

Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2” long.

He’s a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that he’s starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.

I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious…and this is her reply…” A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.”

On a personal note, I’ve read the emails daily from my friend. I’ve known her for years, I’ve heard her talking about her family for years…but I’ve got to tell you that I’m SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.

Father God, we lift up Logan’s little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until he’s grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Thank God for Logan's improving eyes. I've been praying that they'll have perfect vision. As for the prune juice phenomena, way to GO, Logan!

Nov.10th Happy day to all celebrating Marine Corps Day! Also, Nov.11th for all Vets on Veterans Day. Also Happy Birthday to my 32yr.old son (33 tomorrow). It was 33 years ago tomorrow I presented my Air Force husband with a 7lb. baby boy! Of course, he was ecstatic and predicted his son would join the AF in 18 yrs...it actually happened when he was 17, one month after graduating from high school. Although he didn't make it a career, he served 4 yrs. Then got out and went to college.

Now his niece and nephews think they get the day off school because he tells them it's his birthday! (ha ha) Anyway, Happy Veterans Day to all who served!!!!

FOR YOUR PRAYERS in behalf of Ben and Lanelle.

God saw fit to take Ben home to be with Him without Ben's ever regaining consciousness from the coma.

Lanelle sounds like herself but is somewhat reeling from the jolt as we can all imagine.

It doesn't sound like the church is being overwhelmingly wonderful for a list of reasons--virtually all of them clunky.

Anyway--prayers for Lanelle as she sorts through all the required affairs and then her life next . . . . would be greatly appreciated.

God's richest to each of yours. May you communicate lovingly and intimately while there is still time, in your relationship with those you love.

Ben and Lanelle were rearended while nearly stopped to turn by a driver going 45 mph. Lanelle has a sore rib or two. Ben's brain never recovered.

Peace, God's rich peace to Lanelle and each of you.

Nana spoke to Uncle TC tonight and Aunti Faith isn't doing well at all. She is having problems again because of her MS. Faith is a very special lady and the loving daughter of Uncle TC.

Will you please ask everyone to please pray to God for her? Mommy, Nana and I are praying so hard for her.
