If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious and this is her reply A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen
Fellow Freepers .I bring you Logan!!!

Thank you!
M0SBY!!!!!!!!
I'M ASHAMED OF YOU!!
"GOOFY"????!!
AND ONLY THREE DAYS BEFORE THE MARINE CORPS BIRTHDAY!!!
Actually, my daughter's first name is "Chesty", but when she became amply endowed in that area, she dropped it and started going by "Faith".
- if it is true you made your three children fall outside every day for Roll Call in their diapers/scivvies at 0500 and respond loudly, "PRESENT, SIR !!" ??
- They had special sets of toothbrushes with which to perform some of the details of readiness for White Glove Inspections?
- The Ceremony of "Junk on The Bunk" was regarded as sacred in your household?
Should there be any questions, yes - I adhered to all the tried and true methods of rearing of children of military..:))
Yes, they did all those things, and double-timed five miles every morning before chow, although I had to slow the cadence down until they got out of diapers.
I always had to go with them to the first day of school to explain to the teachers that when they said they needed to go to the head, it meant they needed to use the restroom, when they referred to a stair it was going to be ladder, when they mentioned a wall it was going to be bulkhead and pogey bait was something they weren't allowed to have.
I just had a note from Nana!
Logan passed his eye exam today!
The doctor said his eyes are 90% improved!
This has been a big concern since preemies, and, especially, micropreemies, have a tendency to have problems with their eyes.
The blessings just keep pouring in!
Thank you, God!
Thank you, FReepers!
Thank you, Caregivers!
AND NOW FOR THE POOP REPORT!
Little Logan has been having problems going potty.....not Number One, but Number Two.
The doctor took some x-rays yesterday, and the results came back this morning that there were no obstructions in his bowels.
THANK YOU, GOD!
The doctor put him on one ounce of prune juice twice a day which Beth says he likes as much as his apple juice.
Wellll...........about one o'clock this morning our Little Termite presented his mommy with a present which necessitated a bath for him, his bed and all the instrument probes!
I mean this boy does everything BIG !!
Well, heck, he's typical Texan!!
AND HERE'S LITTLE BABY BLUE EYES!!
YOU GO, TERMITE!!!!
Could y'all ping everyone, please?
Thanks!!!!!!!
In regards to my prayer request this a.m.
A bouncing 9lb 3oz boy was delivered at about 16:00 CST. viz C-sect to my sister.
At this point:
All tests appear normal!
He's still in my daily prayers.
GO TERMITE!!
Shore looks like it, Johnny!
Oh, man! A red headed Texas Termite!!
In about eighteen years daddys better hide their whiskey and their daughters!
Kisses,
Yaelle
