If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious and this is her reply A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen
Fellow Freepers .I bring you Logan!!!
Continued prayers for Baby Layla and her mommy and daddy.
Oh, bless her sweet heart! Thank you for the update. Will continue praying!
Thank you for the update, Nana.
I know that you all know the stress that Sam and all the family are going through now. No wonder she is showing the strain. It must be almost impossible to relax. There is stress enough being a new mommy under “normal” circumstances.
God is always in control in every situation, of course. So we trust in Him and pray. May He strengthen, comfort, and guide them through this difficult time toward complete good health and well-being for Layla and their little family.
They are always in my prayers.
(((((Layla)))))
Oh!!! Wonderful news! How precious it is to be able to hold your baby, ‘specially one as special as Layla. This is the best therapy for both of them. Prayers continue for this new little one.
HUGS to all y’all.
That IS a big update!!!
That will be powerful “medicine” for both of them, just to feel their love coursing through each other. That’s necessary stuff! Hope little Layla’s daddy gets in on this baby love stuff too. : )
Praying for the complete healing and well-being of this precious baby and this little family. Above all, may God continue to envelop them in His loving providential care and grant all that is best for each of them according to His Holy Will.
Wow! Very wonderful update! Still praying.
Sorry I haven’t been on here much. Things are NOT going well for baby Layla. She has a hole in her heart, a hernia and cronic lung disease. The lung disease is sort normal I guess (Logan had this), but the other thing that worries us is she is now 1 oz less than when she was born.
Please ask your family and friends to pray for this baby and her family. She’s been here such a short time, but has touched their hearts so deeply.
Blessings...
Nana
Please Heavenly Father...heal this baby....
Prayers continue for Layla.
Stepping up the daily prayers for Layla.
I’m sorry to hear this news, but thank you for keeping us informed. Prayers continue...

Oh my. Pouring on the prayers here for little Layla. Thanks for letting us know how things are going. Lots of hugs to TT.
Thank you for the update, Nana, albeit a sad one about this precious tiny baby.
We’ve been out of pocket for the past week, or so, and I didn’t have access to my computer. But, I still pray every day for sweet baby Layla, and her family, that she will be well and have a long, healthy, happy life with them.
God bless this precious little one and give her the strength to overcome the obstacles to her good health and wellbeing. May He grant all who tend her medical needs the knowledge, wisdom, skill, desire, and compassion to do everything that is needed to help her successfully overcome those obstacles.
We trust in the One who does all things well to do what is best for this sweet baby according to His Holy will, and it is in His name that I pray.
Praying for sweet Layla. May the Father grant her strength to grow and thrive. And, may His healing hand touch all of the physical issues which she faces.
Oh prayers...and more prayers for Layla..and her whole family..
Continued prayers,here’s a bump.
