This morning I decided to let BRAVO have an earful. Here is my email:
"As a DirecTV subscriber, I am notifying you I am permanently blocking BRAVO from my menu on my DSS receiver.
Your push for homosexual-'friendly' programming demonstrates your pandering to an audience that exhibits behavior that is not only detrimental to their own health, but the health and safety of families everywhere. I refuse to risk allowing my children to see promo material on your channel, so I find it necessary to block BRAVO and will encourage others to do so. Your advertisers will no longer reach me or my family members, and I have let DirecTV know of our all too easy decision to block BRAVO.
You may consider a homosexual audience on worthy of pursuit, but families who treasure their own lifestyles think otherwise."
I encourage others to let both BRAVO and their cable/DSS companies know that you're blocking their agenda-pushing programming!

So much controversy over what should be a non-controversial issue, IMO. But then I live in Los Angeles, I am not religious, I am not afraid of gay people, and in fact I have several gay friends, so undoubtedly all of those things color my expectations.

At least one third (or more) of child molestations are same sex - men with boys - and homosexuals are only about 2% of the population. Homosexual literature is replete with lurid descriptions and paeans to men having sex with boys. The original platform of "gay activists" was to ELIMINATE the age of consent in 1972; they have since backtracked since that was a little too revealing of their intent. Now they just want to lower it bit by bit, and get into the schools to catch them young.

What agenda? What's normal? Show me the 'agenda' behind this Queer Eye. If you think homosexuality is not the normal sexual orientation that a minority of human beings have I agreee it's not normal. I don't think homosexuality is a lifestyle choice, but that homosexuality is an abnormality common in a certain percentage among human beings. I think its either caused by something in the brain either mental or related to the glands that regulate sexual desire and function. I don't see it a something you can be recruited to or decide to join on a whim as most of the gay bashers here claim. You are born gay or you are not. It's something inherent in your wiring, quite likely faulty wiring. I view it the same as any other disorder or illness that changes your personality.
I don't support gay marriage or civil unions but I also am discusted by paranoid bigots perpetuating the myth that all gays are out to get them. Are there some militant extemists gays out there trying to make the gay lifestyle more accepted within culture and society? Of course. Are they the majority of homosexuals out there? No. Just as there are extremists based on religion and race, these are the minority and not as prevelant as you imagine.
You are seriously over exaggerating a gay threat to your precious isolated and paranoid world.

And as far as "deep issues" - yes it's true that those of us who oppose the homosexual political agenda DO think deeply. We prefer to search out facts and figures and make intelligent decisions about important issues. As opposed to the "surface thinkers" on the "Gay Is Wonderful" side of the debate, who think about moral issues with their brainstems - a result of years of wolfing down Hollywood's pre-packaged MVRE's (Moral Values Ready to Eat).

As someone else suggested, enter "homosexual biological basis" at Google and see what you get. I have never ever heard of a gay man 'becoming straight'. Where are these many 'gays' who are suddenly straight. Even if they did try to repress their feelings, they would still be gay but not acting ont ehir feelings.
