Don't you wish that Clay's fans could show half the class HE showed?

Could you imagine the reaction if Clay started jumping up and down on stage, pointing at the judges, saying "You wanted him from the start! He's fat and sweaty, and sings off key, and you probably shut off all my phone lines so you could have a black winner."

Music really is a matter of taste. Unlike politics, there are no fundamental principles by which to measure it. Some people like off-key screeching, or whatever, and that's their perfect right.

Maybe we should stick to politics after all . . .

Heck, I thought both of them had great style. They are just very different. Clay sounds like a Broadway musical singer, Rueben has that R&B thing. They both have talent. The racist remarks are pathetic and uncalled for.

Ruben has sounded lousy for several weeks. I don't think we paid that close attention to him at first because Clay and Kimberly Locke were coming on strong.

The man did not deserve to win and he and his family know it. That is not something good to live with.

Ruben's brother said he got through 150 times last week.

Tonight's vote was not held last week. I got through 20 times last week before I got bored and stopped calling only 1/2 hour into a 2-hour window.

THey changed the totals 3 times. First Fox said 13K, then they said 1,300 and by the time the Fox affiliate gave their news, it was a difference of 130K. That tells me that Fox is trying to cover up the breakdown in the phone system of Clay supporters. They are confusing the issue so we'll all drop it.
