Ruben has sounded lousy for several weeks. I don't think we paid that close attention to him at first because Clay and Kimberly Locke were coming on strong.
The man did not deserve to win and he and his family know it. That is not something good to live with.

I don't know about the last several weeks. I only followed the last 2 nights. I do know if I had to market one of them (minus the talent aspect) I would choose "Big Ole Roo". I mean... there is just so much more to work with.

Ok, I'm late with this comment, but I have to say this. We're talking about America, the country which has made a musical icon of the likes of Ja Rule (gag) a man who simply cannot sing on key, and whose voice is worse than fingernails on a blackboard. Clay has the talent, but he had MTV devotees casting the majority of the votes.
