Pardon a little personal plug, but I've added a great photo to my profile. It's at the end, it includes my father, on the left, and me and three of my 4 military brothers. It was taken in the mid-80's and is one of my favorite pics of us in uniform. We always have fun when we do manage to get together. Dad's retired now and my Navy brother has left service as well. hello my friend,

I want to share a story with you because we both come from military families, I know you served this country.. unlike myself, but I thought you would appreciate this story.

Two weeks ago, I was given the flag (by my older brother) that draped my Dad's coffin when he was honored with a 21 gun salute from the Army. He told me that I deserved it and thought I should have it. I can't tell you what that means to me. He was a decorated CWO3 who recieved 11 medals that included the Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal, and the ROK Presidential Unit Citation ribbon and medal.

I am in the process of puting together a couple of Badge display cases in memorial of him. It has been the most rewarding experience of my life, I have found out so much about my Dad's service in WWII and Korea that it has me speechless. The experience of finding out about what it takes to be recognized for outstanding service makes me very proud of my father and all those who have served this country.

I know you have served and I just wanted to share this stroy and thank you for serving....

The photo of your brothers, father and yourself is wonderful. Was your 4th brother in the military as well?

I liked your comment about Officer Daycare. :o) My husband was a Naval Aviator in the early 80's.
