President Bush began the day by speaking at the United States Chamber of Commerce in Washingtion about the economy and his proposed stimulus package. Bush then met with Jerry Bremer, who he appointed presidential envoy to Iraq. Later in the day, the President welcomed Prime Minister Goh of Singapore and signed a free-trade pact between the United States and Singapore. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Ohio, you have the prayers for Eric!
Remembering you and all the family!!

LOL, I was thinking the same thing. Sounds like you and DrDeb had a wonderful time.
Pardon a little personal plug, but I've added a great photo to my profile. It's at the end, it includes my father, on the left, and me and three of my 4 military brothers. It was taken in the mid-80's and is one of my favorite pics of us in uniform. We always have fun when we do manage to get together. Dad's retired now and my Navy brother has left service as well. Check it out if you like.

Thanks a million rintense. I saw a little of the speech, and President Bush was just wonderful.
Great news, I only have one final remaining, and it's an essay test for history. I've done very well on my other three finals, and although I'm excited to be going home, I will greatly miss all the wonderful friends I've made.

As I predicted last week, The democRATS are questioning our Presidents motives about landing on the deck of the USS Lincoln. What a sorry bunch these RATS are, and for Sen. Robert Byrd to question how the Tax Dollars are being spent for that occasion is the height of hypocrisy. I compare this to Bill Clinton standing against "Sexual Harassment" in the work place.
If this is the best the democRATS can muster against this President, the 2004 elections will make the 1984 re-election of Ronald Reagan look like a close race. The American people are quite capable of recognizing a real leader when they see one and todays Zogby Poll is proof of that fact. The Zogby Poll says that 61% of Democrats agree that George W. Bush will be re-elected. This poll should humble the democrats.... But NO!!!!!!! They go on the attack by questioning his motives when President Bush wanted to thank our brave men and women who made the sacrifices necessary to defend this country by making a grand entrance on the USS Lincoln. What these leftist RATS don't understand is.... The sailors on the Lincoln loved it and it was the ultimate "Thank You" from their Commander-in-Chief.
President George W. Bush has earned the respect of this nation for his steadfast defense of the security of this nation and all of us who go about our daily lives. Here is a man willing to put it all on the line for what he believes is real threat to our security, he has shown that he is willing to put politics aside when it comes to the security of the USA. I can't think of anything more important for our Commander-in-Chief or anything more worthy of my vote.
George W. Bush not only has my support and my Vote, he has my respect and admiration as well as all the prayers I can send his way.
Mr. President...... Thank You for all you have done.

I'm here now. It's been a long and tiring day. (I was at my Mom's, helping her after some _________ broke in while she was out of town this weekend.)
If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all!

We should all plan on being in DC to celebrate W's relection in 2004!I'm there. Just tell me where. I've talked my mom into going. I told her it would be my gift to her, and we could go see some museums and memorials. I went for the last inauguration and just know my mom would have a blast.
